Older posts suggest that the faculty interviewers make the calls as well. But I think mostly it's Valerie. The wait is painful...
 
Why calls won't be made today?! As far as I know the admissions office only receive calls at certains days but that doesn't mean they won't make calls.
 
I am about stir-crazy! I feel utterly degraded about how long we've had to wait! Also, Donald Blake, you and I interviewed on the same day. G'luck!!

Director Mazza said she would be out of the office on her voice message. She mentioned that she'd return on Wednesday...

Good luck to you too! It has been a long wait! haha. I also think it is ironic that we had to go through all this anxiety around Dec 15th haha.:laugh: I hope that we both hear good news soon 😀

Indeed! After this application season, I'll have to collect the shards of myself and attempt to be a whole person again. Right now it is so debilitating - all I can do is sit in my bed, eat and watch Downton Abbey. And cry. :scared:
 
I want to know, yet I don't want to know at the same time! So many conflicting emotions.
 
But I could have sworn it was at a Starbucks, etc. I guess my memory is, like everything else, not what it used to be.

I'm not sure if one person does all the calls, but if they do (and it happens to be the woman that called me) then there may not be additional calls until Wednesday.

Accepted!!! Just got the call!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! This was my NUMBER 1!!!!!
 
Niiiiice!!!!!! Now I am checking my phone every 5 minutes to see if I still have battery.. oh boy!
 
Thanks! I interviewed on November 29th. And it was Dr. White I think who called me. I was so overwhelmed I did not hear everything correctly, but definitely not a Director Mazza.

Does anyone think this is going to get pushed back even more because Valerie wasn't in yesterday? Like do we think acceptance calls today and reject/waitlist emails tomorrow?
 
When I called them, they told me around January 30th and she actually said more likely early February. I think they'll be calling until Friday, possibly early next week. Let's keep hoping guys!
 
Haha, now we're talking about early February? Please can this END?! I'm gonna go drinking this weekend and would like some certainty before I embark on some bad choices...

I called Valerie Mazza per her request on the message she left me two days ago, ACCEPTED! She said that I would recieve an email by Friday with further instructions. Good luck!
 
Anyone else having a mild freak out each time you hear your phone vibrate??

could be by this friday.
they probably send this acceptance email for those called all at the same time on friday.

Really hoping the truth will set me free tomorrow. If this doesn't work out, I'll probably give up my dream of going to doctors' school and pursue bartending academy in earnest. It's accredited!
