I will not be attending NYMC. I was also accepted to my state school (Upstate) and I am choosing it over NYMC for a number of reasons (proximity to my family, I already live in Syracuse, I will be in the rural medicine program at Upstate, saving significant $$$). Overall, though, I just feel like I'll fit in at Upstate much better than I would at NYMC.

I flew in from the west coast and found it really didn't matter LGA is a little closer then the others and newark is 15- 20 mins farther away

Penn --> Grand Central via public transportation, Grand Central --> White Plains train station on North Hudson line, then probably taxi rest of the way.

I suggest looking into the White Plains airport. It was actually cheaper for me than JFK or LGA, and it's only ~15 minutes by taxi to the school.

Got an invite email this morning. The link redirected me to my status page which contained a button allowing me to schedule my interview.
Dec 13th was the earliest date when I confirmed with options extending into mid-January

I was completed 10/11.... so it took them a little less than a month! Interview on the 20th, so i'm spending Christmas in NY!!
