completed mid-August, II 9/10. there's really no way to know. they're not giving out decisions until 12/15 so there's plenty of time for interviews. you just gotta wait it out
 
Just got an II (10/18)!

Complete 9/12.

GPA 3.6, sGPA 3.8, MCAT 31, NJ Resident
 
I love it here.. so sad they don't notify you of decisions until friggen december

Yes, fortunately. I received an II on 10/17 and was complete on 8/15, so there's hope if you haven't heard from them in a couple of months.
 
I'm a first-year at RWJ and love it. I received an II in October didn't get off the waitlist until June. Good luck to all of you! I couldn't be happier here 😎
 
Just got my rejection from Cooper, hoping to get some love from RWJ. 3.9 / 34 / IS. What's the turnaround been like between submitting secondaries and getting an interview invite?

A 29 MCAT might hurt a bit, but your GPA definitely makes up for it. I personally have an 8 in bio, which I believe is looked down more than a 7 in verbal, and I will be interviewing here later this month. So you never know unless you try, and I think you definitely have a decent shot. Also, is English is your second language?

English is my second language, I came to America when I was younger, I don't have an accent though.

I will be applying next cycle, I just wanted to know how you guys felt about this app

If you don't mind, how was your gpa?

I just got the same email today. It's my first II so I'm excited, even if there is a wait!

Did anyone else have such a fast turn around from being complete to being interviewed? I sent in my last letters two weeks ago but I didn't receive an email stating my application was complete until yesterday. And then the II came today. Is this average?

II yesterday, as well! My first of the cycle... I was beginning to lose hope after hearing NOTHING from any of my schools since being complete back in September! :soexcited:
 
Hey All! Can anyone who interviewed here this year tell me a little about what to expect for interview day? I know its MMI but looking for a little more info about tour (do we go to New Brunswick) etc? Interview coming up in less than two weeks- super nervous! Thanks 🙂

Don't get too stressed about the MMI, it was quick and fun. The interview day starts with current students giving a presentation about the school, then follow by the tour of the medical building, and then it's MMI time. And no, we don't visit New Brunswick, the whole thing takes place on the Piscataway campus.

Does anyone have an idea when we should be expecting decisions? It feels like I've been waiting forever for RWJ.
 
I was complete 07/29, absolutely nothing. NJ Resident. 3.6, 3.5, 29. Do I call or is it safe to just chalk this up as a loss, as sad as that sounds.

Hey, I feel your pain. I was complete the same day and have also heard nothing. I called about two weeks ago and they didnt really tell me anything... they only said a decision hasn't been made on my application.

DON'T GIVE UP! I would send an update. I am a NJ resident and completed early at NJMS and didn't receive ANYTHING. I even called to check the status of my application like twice and they were very vague. I then decided to send them a letter with my continued interest/an update on the extra community service projects I picked up and received an II 5 days later. Granted these are different NJ schools, but I don't think it can hurt. Good luck guys 🙂

Yeah I agree, definitely felt good vibes all around while interviewing today. I believe they said the adcom would meet this Wednesday regarding decisions and today's group would be included as well. Definitely nice to have the chance to hear back so soon.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your time today! Rutgers University - Robert Wood Johnson is an amazing school and one of the best choices you can make (in my biased opinion of course...) Good luck to everyone in the upcoming week or so - maybe see some familiar faces at Accepted Students Day in January!
 
JUST GOT THE CALL FROM DR. TERREGINO!!!! I AM SO HAPPY! I thought they were waiting until Dec 15th for acceptances. This is WONDERFUL news

Similar question. Interviewed 10/28, but I didn't receive a call today. Something tells me this is bad news.
 
Earlier this week. They said they were holding off all acceptances from before until later this week - I would imagine she cannot individually call all accepted students in one day. The admissions woman said its likely people will get an email before a call, but they try to call everyone. Don't worry if you have not heard yet! Good luck!
 
For those accepted, did you guys just receive a phonecall or an email as well?

My answering machine was full and no one was home to answer the call. Do you mind sharing the calling phone number - the first 6 digits only?
 
ACCEPTED !

I interviewed on 11/22. She said she had ~50 more calls to make today. The phone number starts with a 856 area code
