I'm behind on all my updates. Was waiting for a paper to get submitted that keeps getting pushed back 🙁
 
Hey guys, just got rejected from CT this morning pre-interview, but I am still on hold for an interview consideration for CCLCM. Is anybody in my situation out there? any advice?

Story of my life. ;___; Squeezed one pub out in September (after a year long wait ugh), but the completed manuscript I'm primary author on has been sitting in stasis for the past six months. I guess I still have to put "in preparation." Love how export review moves as a glacial pace.

Better whip up an update all the same. Good luck Penguin! (Not that you'll need it, you flawless flightless bird you 😉).

I was complete on 8/27. Still nothing. University track. Looking at this thread I guess I should expect an on-hold notice in the coming weeks though. How are you guys submitting updates?

I got rejected from UT but interviewed at CT. They are separate.
 
It's been three weeks since I interviewed and I have a feeling that UT decisions are going out today or tomorrow! I have no idea why! But I have a hunch 🙂
 
@sunflower18, Darn it! Every time I get a notification that you (or anyone!) posts in this thread I panic because I think decisions are out! 😀 Hopefully you are right, and the agonizing wait will end soon.

Sorry sorry!!! No decisions here -- just obsessing and speculating 🙂

I'm definitely going to be super jumpy whenever anyone posts here once it gets closer to the 15th.... Looks like CT decisions trickled in over the course of a week or two last year, which will certainly add to the anxiety! At least I've got finals to keep me busy 😉
 
Just a general unrelated question: does anyone has suggestions for housing the day before the interview? Thank you!
 
Any II's recently? I got rejected from the research track (CT?) still waiting on the other one (UT?).
 
Do they send rejections through email or do you have to check the portal yourself?
 
If it helps you any, the chances of getting a student host are about 50/50. Don't get discouraged if you don't get a student host.
 
has anyone heard of getting an interview after the pre-interview hold for future consideration status?
 
Ok so I was totally wrong about UT decisions going out last week. But I'm SURE that they'll come out this week! Any guesses on which day? I'm betting on Tuesday. Also I'm hoping for some CT news this week too.... oh man, this is way too exciting. Way more interesting than studying for finals, that's for sure 😛

Sunflower18, I hope you are right, I am dying to hear something. Do you know if there has been some acceptance in CT?

So, I kind of screwed up on a test and might get a C+ in a higher level science class this semester, unless a miracle happens in the final. Is that reason to rescind my acceptance to UT? Something one could do?

I don't think so. One of my schools requires a written explanation of any grades of a C or lower, and says Ds will make your application maybe be reconsidered. However, as long as your other grades are fine, one C+ isn't the end of the world.

Thanks! Yeah, I think you are talking about UVA. I got an acceptance there too, and I'm a little worried that I'll have to explain my grade. I hope I can still make it work out to a B-

I'm fairly positive that no CT acceptances have gone out yet.

FINAL PREDICTION: UT decisions will come out today and CT decisions will start coming out tomorrow. AHHHH
 
When did you recently accepted folks interview? I interviewed on 11/12 and have received nothing.

11/10 - its weird since theres nothing uploaded to my status page - although they say that there should be a letter.

Patience. It may take few hours to a day to show up but it will be there soon.
