has anyone been rejected or just silence?
Any acceptances yet?
Yeah, I am thinking its next week now. Nothing here.Nothing here. @HandsomeRob might be right in that it could be next Thursday. We still have tomorrow possibly.
Accepted!!
Accepted!!!!! I missed the call and got a message so I called back the next morning and heard the good news.
Interviewed Nov. 25
Yeah, believe it or not, I actually really enjoyed it. I got to sit on on 1st and second year classes for like 40 minutes each cause no one was telling me what to do, so I did what I wanted to do, and saw what I thought was important. I consider it one of my best interview days 😉 Now I am thinking I should have just written a reply to the thread. Didn't think people would be so interested.
Just for an FYI for anyone who is flying out to Cali. I flew into San Diego and rented a car to drive in. It wasn't a bad drive and traffic was only moderate. Plus I got a rental car from Fox rentals for $15 a day! If your shuttle costs more than $20 each way, I would ditch it for a rental for sure.
2nd year Pathophysiology with I believe Dr Werner, and Histology for the 1st years, and I didnt catch the name of that professor.Which lectures did you end up sitting in on?
I am speculating here, but I think Loma Linda might actually have a 'living waitlist' i.e. they look at your app every time a new round of interviewees come and rerank and accept the top of the list. Just looking at the spread of interview dates of those who were accepted, its the only thing I could come up with. I mean why would some people get interviewed in Nov and not hear back till Jan, when others heard back in Dec? But Adventist schools are weird like that sometimes too.I interviewed on Nov 25th but still havent received a call...does this mean that i will most likely be rejected or waitlisted?

But I don't want to be a purveyor of false hope to anyone (especially myself), so take the 'living waitlist' thought with a grain of salt.
If someone posted they had been rejected post-interview already, that would make the theory less likely as well. I know I will be watching my mail like a hawk for the rejection letter (I hope not to see it).
Anyone have solid knowledge on the Biomed program? Is it pretty much automatically offered if you get waitlisted?

I have to admit, even with my clinical background as a nurse glomular nephritus seemed alot more complicated in pathophys than in my current knowledge, I'm looking forward to learning. Cresants and lumpy bumpy right?Good choice. Pathophys is our toughest & best class. No question.
I think some Non-SDA already got some IIs. Could be wrong thoughI hope they're still extending II's to Non-SDA's! This school is close to family and I'd love to see the campus!

Prob one of the biggest impressions I got from the school was that class and my 4th year hosts. Both were very positive for me. If I get the chance I will go here, no question.
I'm in the same boat as well. From here it doesn't sound like a lot of IIs have been sent recentlyI completed first week of Sep. Haven't heard anything back. 🙁 Perhaps it's silent rejection.

Completed early November and haven't heard anything either. A friend of mine applied last year and he said he never heard a word one way or the other... ever! (but maybe he missed an email)Has anyone received and II lately? Especially if you turned your secondary late October/Early November?
Thanks for all the help and good luck to everyone!!
Just kidding. I got the call just now. SO HAPPY. I am a reapplicant here, so doubly happy.
Question: The website says that applications are reviewed up to March 2015. Does that include decisions to send out interviews or that means that interviews end at that point?

The second one! complete means the whole fileHello everyone! I guess this is mostly for the people who have been accepted/received an II (congratulations btw!!) the date that you are all using as being complete...is that when you turned in your secondary, or is that when you received the email from llu stating that your recommendations were all in and your file is now complete? Sorry if this has already been answered, just trying to compare myself to the people who have had successful results so far!! Thanks again!
Would you mind sharing your stats?Just got a II here! OOS, non-christian, and super excited to have another interview in California!
Multiple CA schools. Going to guess Lizzy >70 unless URMWould you mind sharing your stats?
Congrats and best of luck!LizzyM 72-75, not URM. I was complete way back in July btw. Also I'll update this with available dates once I schedule my interview!
Mind sharing stats?Just got an II on 2/2. Was born and raised in the Inland Empire and am non-SDA Christian. My app wasn't complete until October. Don't give up guys!

They picked the last one with me too, so at least your in good company . There really isnt much more to tell. I basically was told were the first(Centenial hall) and second years (alumni hall) took their classes so thats where I went. I also sampled some of the fine cuisine in the cafeteria of LLMC which is connected to the medical school and practically in the center of campus as far as I am concerned. Being vegitarian I found it especially enjoyable (everything in the cafe is veggie 🙂. My biggest complaint is that they havent accepted me. I loved it.Would you mind telling a little more about what you did on your be-your-own-tour-guide day? It looks like I'm going to have one of those as well! It kind of sucks, because out of the five days I gave them, they picked the LAST one, which is about a month later than my official interview day was going to be. So I'm thinking that time factor will diminish my chances :/
