I told everyone excom ended today!!......hopefully your respective excom member calls you tonight or tomorrow! If they can't reach you, then you'll have to wait for the acceptance email. If you're on the ranked waitlist, that news might come via email instead of phone call. Reject come via email.
 
do they usually make acceptance calls the day after excom meeting?
 
So does this mean if we arent accepted today or tmr, we are either rejected or waitlisted? 🙁

No, today was NOT the first day of the three day meeting.....it was the LAST day of the two day meeting.

I didn't realize they could be two days. When I applied, the uwmedicine page said it was three days. Apparently the page now says two-three days. I was wrong to assume it wouldn't change in the two or three years since I hit submit on my AMCAS. I'm sorry to anyone I mislead with my misinformation.

The good news though is that everyone will get to hear back even sooner than expected!
 
So.... since today was the last day of the two day meeting, we should know by tomorrow? Any OOR got a call recently?
 
I'm out of the country and can't get a phone call- any idea how long email correspondence takes?
 
This may be a silly question but ... do OOR applicants find out the same time as in state?
 
I think that all emails will be sent out this Friday at the latest. According to last year it looked like a lot of rejections (via email) came out on Friday 3/14... I think that if they are unable to get ahold of you, then you should find out on that Friday also. But this is just speculation...

BTW, WA interviewed end of Jan, 2 SUCs.
 
Judging by the notifications I'm getting on fb, there's a quite a few acceptances. Congrats to those accepted and best of luck to everyone else this week! And if you get waitlisted, hopefully it moves quickly and reaches deep.

I want to add that if the fb group is any indication of the number of acceptances, there's still plenty of spots open, so don't lose hope!

Can anyone post that waitlist movement document/spreadsheet for last year's class? If it exists
 
I checked the admissions status portal this morning. I was able to log in, but the "interview information" tab and other bits of info that were there have cleared. Based on last years' thread, that seems to correlate with a coming rejection. I'm hopeful that I'm wrong but girding myself for an upcoming email.

I just logged into mine - and all my info is gone except for the Sec App & Interview info tabs are still there and are clickable... Bah! I have no idea what's going on!!

That's what mine is too. The rest of the writing has cleared. If I were to guess, if the other tabs are still there that means that either you're headed towards waitlist/acceptance or they haven't decided on your application yet. Pure speculation though!

Where it said "you have been selected to interview!" and had another paragraph or two is now just a notification that popup blockers must be turned off.
 
first interview on 10/1 (first day of interview season), been SUC since then. All my tabs disappeared as well. oh UW why did you lead me on for so long ....

Ok so i have this on my portal -- What does this mean? Am I on alternate status? Does anyone else have this?

University of Washington School of Medicine alternate status for the entering class of 2015
An alternate list has been established for each WWAMI state with Washington and Out of region alternates on the same list. Alternates are accepted in ranked numerical order. The most recent alternate ranks accepted are listed below.

Idaho: Alternate -- has been accepted

Montana: Alternate -- has been accepted

Alaska: Alternate -- has been accepted

Wyoming: Alternate -- has been accepted

Washington/Out of region: Alternate -- has been accepted
