Maybe they have decided to take all the people from the first batch and they just don't need any more
I called a few weeks ago - the person I spoke with said that the next round of invites would be coming the "first, or at the very latest, second week of October." By my interpretation, that should be the end of next week at the latest.
Um or they get accepted but matriculate elsewhere!! I'm stayin positive.thanks! thats really helpful! and she probably suggested that to you bc approx ~2% of applicants matriculate. Not personal, just from her perspective, most applicants she talks to are going to be rejected... lol
INTERVIEW INVITE ON PORTAL TODAY!!! So excited about Creighton Complete 8/25, OOS.
Dang I was complete 9/10 so hopefully some news is coming for us later completers as well! Congrats!!!INTERVIEW INVITE ON PORTAL TODAY!!! So excited about Creighton Complete 8/25, OOS.
Nah, I just compulsively check portals in my free time and was shocked to see it. I imagine emails will come out tomorrow!Wow, on a Sunday? No email notification?

Actually just received email. Good luck everybody!Wow, on a Sunday? No email notification?
There was A little red indicator on the very first page after logging in that stated I was invited.Where on the portal does it say? Congrats!
I'm convinced they go through applications, not by date submitted, but by MCAT score or alphabetically or something. Don't stressWhen were you all complete? I was complete 8/30 so is all hope lost? Lol
Furthermore, even if they did look at your application and didn't know what to do with you yet, they still could come back in Feb and decide to interview you. When were you all complete? I was complete 8/30 so is all hope lost? Lol
I'm a current M1 at Creighton (lurked here all through my application process) and I was complete mid July, heard nothing and had actually started making housing plans at another school before I interviewed in mid February! There is plenty of hope 🙂I was complete mid July and I haven't heard anything. Is all hope gone?
Congrats! What did you ask that caused them to go over your applications over the phone with you?II today! Complete end of august-ish. Had an interview in feb last cycle and absolutely loved this school! I was waitlisted though and no one was taken off the list. Called earlier in the cycle arojnd sept. and they actually reviewed my applications from both years with me over the phone. Congrats and good luck to everyone!!

That's super cool.I've done this as well. Last cycle Thursday was their "open door" day, so I scheduled a phone call with an adcom and he walked through my application with me and was very upfront about strengths and weaknesses, and what more should be done. I'm sure you already recognize these types of things in your application, but it's nice hearing it and getting an advice on it from a real adcom.
Got 509 on the new mcat and cum GPA of 3.72. Lots of volunteering and I'm working as a med assistant (lots of clinical experience).Whats everyone's stats if you don't mind me asking
Congrats to all with IIs!
After 2.5 months, I expected there to be more IIs sent out.
How many IIs have been sent out?
I second this. Creighton's admissions staff is seriously the nicest, most friendly group of people. Each time I've communicated with them, they've been extremely helpful and didn't seem annoyed to be handling my request.Okay, so I called and spoke to probably the kindest and most helpful admissions person yet.
Late to the party but an I'm an M4 at Creighton and been part of the student portion of the admission committee. I can honestly say that every interview they give is for a spot in the class. That being said, they have filled classes quickly recently and there hasn't been much movement off of the waitlist the past few years. They are also one of the most transparent and open admission committees I know of. Take advantage of the open door feedback and definitely send updates (fall semester grades, new shadowing/volunteering, new research, etc.) as they are very receptive of updates. Entering peak residency interview season, but post or PM any questions and I'll do my best to respond.Okay, so I called and spoke to probably the kindest and most helpful admissions person yet.
-They are behind on this next wave of II's. They are really hoping to get them out this weekend.
-They interview until the end of the cycle for a chance at an acceptance. If you interview late, you are not interviewing for the alternate list, but for a seat in the class.
-If you are not invited to interview and you'd like to know why, they will set you up with an adviser and you can get some feedback. She offered this to me a couple of times which kind of had me wondering if she saw a big HOLD or REJECT on my account![]()
Has anyone who already interviewed have their "thank you for attending the interview..." blurb removed from their status page on their portal? Seems like they are getting the decisions ready.
Who did you hear that from? MSAR or did you call in?I am seeing the same. I heard that we can expect to see some decisions to come out tomorrow!
So chances are we have to wait another month now for the next wave of IIs?
I did the same. I wish all schools would give you an assessment of your chances during the process instead of the usual silent treatment. That's what I was thinking...so I decided take the advice of another and set up a meeting to discuss my application with an administrator. Have a phone conference with Creighton next week and I'm hoping to get a feel for what they think of me instead of silence until Feb.
