yeah FYI the way it works for JHU is that they email you the date that you are assigned rather than give you the choice. If you need to reschedule though they will totally entertain that. The interview date that I was assigned was surprisingly close to the date I was given the II so I already had interviews scheduled for the date they gave me.

Was planning on reapplying here next year (rejected post-interview), but my MCAT is from August 2013. Not sure if it's valid anymore...but the Hopkins website says the following so I'm not sure..."The oldest MCAT accepted for students entering in Fall 2015 is 2011. The last test date for students entering in Fall 2015 is the September 18, 2014 administration."

Yeah I have in my notes (*casual* but really its been engrained in my mind, and reminded in every single one of my dreams) that it will be "before or by February 1st". Seeing as this year's December decisions were a bit early, I am thinking it is more likely late January.

I would definitely call the admissions office just to make sure. You don't want to apply next cycle with misinformation.

I also remembering them heavily emphasizing at my interview date (~November) that the release date is a moving target, and said it could be "early February". That being said, we'll still get the news relatively soon!

I have the same thing! Pretty sure it wasn't there when I checked my portal last week. Submitted 12/1, I think it's just their way of marking our apps complete.

Yep, that is when they finished processing your application. Took them a month to process mine.

I wouldn't worry yet. They said that there is still 6 weeks left of interviews. And yeah, the whole process is super random.

Yup, submitted the secondary on 12/1 (designated Hopkins on AMCAS a couple of days beforehand).

according to their FB page, they interview throughout Feb and extend invites during this time (extend IIs through "mid Feb"). There's still time, but it is Hopkins...

I just called and was told they are allowed but they are not reviewed unless the person gets an interview. So basically that means don't bother unless you have an invite already.

Makes sense in that the FB page (and the admissions FAQ page) said they don't accept updates pre-II, but do accept updates post-Interview.

Curiously, all FB posts from mid-2/2015-12/2015 have disappeared from the site...

What number did you call? I'm trying their main line to attempt rescheduling an interview, but no luck so far.

I just called 410-955-3182. The phone message at the beginning said they only take calls during specific times (I think it was 11AM to 3PM on mondays, tues and thurs?)

Honestly, they could be early or they could be a week or two later. They could be preparing to send them out tomorrow. Hence their ballpark estimates of "Around Feb 1"
