If they told you not to, I wouldn't. However, they did NOT say this on my interview day, so I did send them. Highly doubt it made a difference though.
Thanks! I'm gonna go ahead, follow instructions, and not send anything. I'm definitely thinking into it too much but it surprised me a bit.
Same here, that's really strange that they would discourage it! Maybe interviewers were getting overwhelmed by thank you emails, I totally see it.
Got a II here today!! SOOO excited since I haven't had any invites since early october. Dates available were from 15th-29th Jan. Time to learn everything about Feinberg. Did everyone have a good student host experience here? Looking to take advantage of that option.

Got an II this mroning! Complete radio silence since completing secondary in early July. Lizzy M 75~ish. Already got into great school so FREE spot for someone else....Good Luck!

Ok this may be a really stupid question...I have never been to the north before, so I don't really know..... do I need snow boots on interview day? And then change into my heels when I am at the school?

So next Monday will be exactly 8 weeks after my interview. Anyone else in the same boat?
Plus, it looked as if those who were accepted generally heard back within a couple weeks. Does having to wait the entire 8 weeks generally mean one has been continued/rejected?

We have a Test on CV February 1st, so If you want the best student host experience come sooner rather than later!
Yeah I read about that. Luckily after messaging like 5 people I got someone to host me! I'll stay mostly out of his way since he will probably be studying the entire day lol.

Accepted!! I'm so excited!!! Interviewed last week- so surprised at the turn around time!
Northwestern notifies you of merit scholarships when they release financial aid info. It was around mid March for me.

I sent an update letter pre-II and they graciously added it to my file. I figured it couldn't hurt!
Really loved my interview day here! The improvements feinberg is making are stellar and the facilities are gorgeous. The interview day was pretty stress free and didn't receive any curveball questions. Really hoping for some love next month from this school!
I will never NOT get the drop in my stomach from the Feinberg newsletter email. I know I can unsubscribe, but I think I just like torturing myself 😕

I was surprised they had anymore. The available dates were for Feb 3, 5, and 10th.
Just called admissions office asking if it was worth sending an update. Interview seats are filled, last date is around Feb 10th. Sorry y'all. #sadness

II this morning!!!!! So stoked. I had pretty much given up on this school so great feeling.

Just called the Admissions Office since I haven't received an II and they said that IIs are still coming. So I guess there's some hope?

Has anyone had to wait the full 8 weeks to hear a response post-interview?
I waited 8 weeks (+1 day since that Monday was MLK 😉)
You and I talked to the same person, I think. If it was a woman, I think she was just guessing. Sometimes certain staff members don't quite know

Anyone else basically get a post-interview hold? Just got an email saying they will make a final decision in March. Interviewed 1/20 so I wasn't expecting to hear back any time soon anyway. Just confused as to what this means. They said "I expect that many of the applicants receiving this message will eventually receive an acceptance to FSM. Some will be placed on a waitlist and only a few will be declined."
