Not going to sugar coat it, it's dire. You're competing with the hospital staff for spots in the garages and lots closest to the med center, and the various annual parking passes offered by CampusParc are all pretty expensive and don't give students access to the garages around the hospital/med school. You could buy a city parking permit and try to get to campus early to find a spot in the neighborhood south of the med center to park, but again, that's playing entirely to luck. It's possible, especially if you get to campus area early, but it's hit or miss.
So you kind of have to pick your poison: cheaper city permit with uncertainty, or expensive CampusParc lots/garages. I'd say to familiarize yourself with the options on the CampusParc website for annual passes, as well as check out the city parking permit costs and see what you think. If you plan on coming to campus daily, then one of those two will be necessary. If you're only going to be around for required stuff, then maybe you could swing just paying the daily rates at the 9th Ave garage.
