Got my first II today here! I was complete 7/31

Scheduled my Interview for November 16th. Anyone else?? Any tips on where to stay? I'm flying into O'Hare, hoping to take public transit to the school/hotels

For my interview next week, I am staying at a hotel north of Midway (which is where I am flying into), although O'Hare is a little bit closer to the school because it is slightly more north. The school is about an hour north of Midway WITHOUT traffic, so I'd stay closer to the school if your interview is in the morning (mine is not). I believe that there is public transit that you can take. I think I saw something about it in one of the emails I received from them to confirm the interview.

(west coast, night-owl here). Slightly concerned about November weather but I supposed it'll be good to get a real preview!

This happened to me, I never got an email, so I called them just to verify that I was, and they verified it over the phone and sent me a complete email 🙂

Usually sometime between when you're complete and April.

Not always though. Sometimes May, and sometimes before you're complete. So, there's that.

That's probably why I was rejected, I have heard that Rosalind Franklin doesn't like to accept people with higher stats because there's a low probability that they'll actually go there. Not sure if that's true.

As unfortunate as it is, that's likely true. They know with your stats you'll get into a better school and if given a choice between "us and them" you'll likely choose them. They likely interview students who fit the profile for who will truly matriculate there.

Yeah, and that would definitely hold true for me, as I've already got an II at my top choice.

So I'm not upset about it. But congrats to everyone that did get an interview!

That's odd, I submitted just a couple days before you and my LORs weren't in until a week after that, but I got the complete email 9/9. Who knows how these things work...

When is your interview scheduled for? My confirmation email said I will receive another email with detailed info 1-2 weeks before the date of the interview.

You should go ahead and book a hotel and flight after you receive confirmation because the details won't be sent until 1-2 weeks before the day of your interview and by then flights and hotels might not be available or would be very expensive. Interview day for the morning ends at 12:30 and afternoon interviews end at 4:30 or thereabouts

Is it unusual that I submitted my secondary to CMS on August 10 and was just marked complete and under review today (September 17)? Seems like a huge lag...
