Makes sense. Money is also an issue for me as well since I have all these student loans already. I also enjoyed my interview day at Brown! I was completely surprised by everyone from the faculty/admissions staff all the way down to the applicants. All the best with the rest of your cycle!
 
Also waitlisted. Interviewed beginning of December!
 
Does anybody know how common it is to have a car during MS1 and MS2?? And where in Providence do most people live during first 2 years?

Seemed super common, multiple students told me 90-95+% of people have cars. Will be a necessity to get around especially in brutal NE winters.
A lot of people seemed spread out around Providence. There didn't seem to me at least to be a cluster of people living in the same spot. Of the 20 or so students I talked to, roughly 15 lived somewhere by the undergrad (east of the river) in a more residential setting. While a bit of a distance from the med school, rent's cheap AF and they parked near the school and walked.

+1!! sigh. and no acceptances for me yet, so the waiting is a bit rough.
 
Did anyone else on the waitlist receive an email from the financial aid office about completing their aid application?
 
Really stupid question, but do the faculty/current students here usually refer to the school as Brown or Alpert?

Yah mine came 8 mins ago. I fell asleep in the library and woke up and saw it lol. Brown was my #1 🙁
