I feel you. I interviewed 9/30 and have not heard anything either. The waiting is getting so hard!

Are out-of-state students eligible for this scholarship? Or is it only IS students?
 
Anyone remembers what they said about sending thank you notes for the interviewers?

You send them to the admissions office address or to their admissions email. I sent hand-written notes addressed to each of my interviewers

Thank you for your response! I really want to send handwritten notes as well, but my handwriting sucks and I don't want it to take forever to be delivered. Do you think it would be looked down upon if I just send an email?

Honestly, I don't think my letters were even delivered before my acceptance, which was less than a week after the interview. So I don't think it makes a difference. I believe they already have an impression of you before you leave your interview.

Your GrizzlyID should be under the admitted tab on the portal and you use that to activate everything. You need a MySail ID that you use your Grizzly ID to create. PM me if you still need help

I was wondering what sort of questions they ask during the interviews apart from the super common ones (why med, why ouwb, tell me about yourself). Highly appreciate it! :biglove: 🙂

They really try to get to know you as a person. At least that's the feeling I got from the interviewers. I didn't have any difficult ethical questions, and ended up having great conversations during both interviews.

Email came at 9am. Really thought I had a shot here based on shared values and since they took so long to evaluate my app. Oh well.

Yea it's taking a while, was complete the same time and still waiting.

IS. Lizzy 71( high gpa, above average MCAT). I think it was the fit and the interview that got me the scholarship.
 
Probably a long shot, but is there any chance a current student would be willing to host me the nights of February 2nd and 3rd? Flying in from New Jersey!

I would follow up with another email. I filled out the form and no one ever responded to me before my interview...

Pre-interview rejection. Complete mid-Aug. LizzyM 62-68, high MCAT, low GPA. Canadian

Sucks cuz I was just about to send in an update today about an accepted abstract. Lesson for the future to get your updates in early

Just got rejected after being complete since august. Pretty crushed, I really loved the idea of this place and lasted a while in review- I have no IIs so I thought this one might pan out. Best of luck, all!

Sorry to hear that @valenceoctet 🙁 some schools have interviews until April, so there may be additional IIs trickling in the end of this month/beginning of next month from other schools. Best of luck to you!
 
Does OUWB send out post-interview rejections immediately, or do they wait until the end to do so?
