Anyone who was complete on 8/16 or after hear back?
 
Interviewed 9/16 (the second week of interviews hosted), have yet to hear back anything. Has anyone heard anything on a decision? Thought they were to be released on 10/17? Admissions said 6-8 weeks on the interview day, but how does that apply to the earliest acceptances/rejections being released on October 17th? Seems no one has heard back yet?

I interviewed 9/7 and still haven't heard anything. Last year it looks like people heard as early as Oct 20th so I'm not sure why this year would be so different.

I would assume that if they had released decisions, we would have heard, regardless of what the admission decision was?

Interviewed same day as you, and haven't heard back anything either:/

Complete around Sept 1 and put on hold about 3 weeks ago
 
Also interviewed 9/16 and haven't heard anything!
 
I called them and they said that they would get back to us by email and that it would be 8-10 weeks after our interview date
 
I'm wondering why it is taking so long. Thought first decisions would be out October 15?

I think we're all pretty much wondering the same. Last year acceptances were released as early as 10/20
 
Pre-II hold just now

Are there pre-II rejections? Basically, is a hold a good thing in a way?

How is the Hold status worded? Is it along the lines of continued review ?
 
The email said they would revisit the application continuously throughout the cycle to determine if an II is warranted.

From what I gathered, it means that you are good enough to interview, just not right now per se. They'll wait to see the overall quality of the applicant pool & how many interviewees are a good fit. They'll then come back and pull us off hold for IIs.

I guess its kinda like an II waitlist. But the II schedule so fast paced, and they reject a lot of people, so I don't think its necessarily a bad thing. If anything, its just a reminder that you are still in the running for an II. If they simply didn't contact us until January, and gave us an II then, we wouldn't blink. This way we know we are still under consideration and aren't being silently rejected.
 
I wish there was a way to update them ...but i know they hate that
 
Been complete since 8/1 and received no II or pre-II hold... I'm assuming that means rejection.

don't think so. I interviewed 9/16, got an email from them this week saying 8-10 weeks for a decision. weird though because we were all expecting some sort of release by 10/15 or so
