Ahhh! That's that's the worst. Happened to me before but with the PNB -.- I hope you get THE call soon!!

I missed a call from a Private Number last night when I was picking up sushi but it was probably a telemarketer getting my hopes up since I got the SUC email.
 
Kind of random, but did anyone else get an email from WSU saying their new medical school is now accepting applications for their inaugural class of 2017? It'll be interesting to see how that unfolds :O
 
It's going to be very hard for them to fill a class, especially with SUC list people that potentially are tied up for a long time. I don't think there is a single person that would chose a new WSU school over UW at this point, and they are only really taking instate/connected people, which I bet 95% applied UW.

With that said, I went ahead and filled out the app, figured why not. There is now a school thread on here for it btw..

I got the email also, but I'm not a WA resident. *shrug*
 
So tomorrow will be 6 weeks since I submitted my secondary. I received my complete email on 9/30. Should I be worrying that I haven't heard anything back yet? 🙁

FYI: I applied to the Eastern Washington TRUST program.
 
It sucks when work is slow so you don't have anything to keep you busy instead of losing hair over your chances at your top choice...

Any news from anyone? Does EXCOM meet this week?
 
Big question: I know UWSOM doesn't accept updates this cycle, but will I be able to give them updates if I'm put under consideration? How about for the people who are put in the alt. list in March?

My guess would be no, given the wording I saw when I applied last year. However, I would call the admissions office and ask. They're very nice 🙂

I saw one person on this thread say that they had gotten an II and claimed to be an Idaho resident. That's the only one I've seen though. The website says they give out II's usually 3-4 weeks before the interview so I think generally Idaho residents (myself included) won't hear anything until late December or early January.
 
Anybody who interviewed on 10/24 received any news yet ?

Oh you might be right. Someone said that the EXCOM meeting was the morning of the 24th, in which case your application/interview would not have been considered.
 
Anybody know when the next meeting is?
 
I'm WWAMI, so, my invite has no dates yet. Idaho interviews are in Jan and Feb. The tension, man!!
 
Would any of those who interviewed be wiling to share what sort of situational/problem solving questions the panel put to you? I've heard some of the situations can be pretty tough to work through, so I was curious if anyone had examples (I assume they switch the questions up from interviewee to interviewee on this).

Does anyone know if you can get rejected before the excom meeting?
 
I haven't even interviewed yet but do we need to send a representative to make sure the excom members are alive??

Edit: like literally just alive, not even asking if they've met which we know they haven't
 
Rejected pre-interview today. Sent in an appeal letter. Bummed to say the least.
