I live in British Columbia and go to school at UBC, but am still and Idaho resident and part of the WWAMI since I depend on my parents. For Idaho, I had to fill out a ton of paper work to verify my residency. Not applying this cycle, but does anyone know the WWAMI residency requirements? My family lives in Wyoming but I'm a Texas Resident at a Texas university, so I'm planning on moving home with my family after school. Does anyone know how long I have to physically live in a WWAMI state to apply as a resident? It only takes one month to get a Wyoming ID and plates. Thanks!
I had an interview here last year, got the email with the II in mid october. This year I was complete about the same time and just got my II yesterday. So I would say you still have a shot at getting one as well.I interviewed as an Idaho applicant last year. And last year, I received an invite to interview in October. This year, I haven't received any correspondence from them regarding a II, except confirmation of my secondary application. Has anyone else had a similar experience? What's with the delay?
Congratulations! And thank you; I hope you're right.I had an interview here last year, got the email with the II in mid october. This year I was complete about the same time and just got my II yesterday. So I would say you still have a shot at getting one as well.
Made it to the alternate list but just barely didn't get pulled sadly. I'm hopeful this year! Best of luck to you as well.
Maybe next week.I'm surprised no one has heard anything if the excom committee met this week....
Hey thank you very much! I really appreciate that 🙂. I hope the best for you as well!I'm definitely pulling for you Henchman21. I think we might have interviewed on the same day last year, and it's downright sucky to be one person away from making it. This is your year!
Usually one whole month or (a little) more. When can one expect to hear back from scheduling after being extended an interview? For in-state Washington applicants (foundations in Seattle).

Email and ask, or just bundle your update and let them do as they please with it.Hey does anyone know if they accept updates for certifications as well as grades? I am finishing up a Microbio class, but also my internship which gives me a certification of Patient Experience and Pre-Clinical work from a top school. It is technically a "class" with coursework, but mostly involved over many hours of clinical work.
Cool, see you tomorrowI must part ways with my daily obsession with my gmail account, and SDN thread updates.
Thanks for the advice! I think I will just include it all in one 🙂Email and ask, or just bundle your update and let they do as they please with it.
I called admissions earlier this week and they said they can't tell me when the meeting is but that the committee will meet sometime this month..Hmm guessing those of us who interviewed in Seattle from mid-November-early December won't hear back now until after New Years.

I am an Idaho resident with an interview invite. My interview will be in January because I'm a trust applicant. Does anyone know if I will hear back after the TRUST interviews (January) or not until after March when all Idaho applicants are done interviewing?

The overall acceptance rate is about 30% post interview. I think the rate is similar in regional sites, about 1/3, but the good news is that the pool of applicants may be less competitive.Anybody know how many Idaho interview invites are given out? What are odds of acceptance post II?

https://www.facebook.com/groups/UWSOM2021/If someone sees or makes a UWSOM E-2017 fb page can you post the link here? Before someone says that I should make one - I just don't want to. Great reason I know!
Got the first SUC on 11/21. Haven't received the following one everyone is commenting on *biting nails*

Yeah the tone seemed much less scarySucd email was different though. Shorter and said "we are happy to report you are still under consideration" compared to the last emails.
I had this same question and emailed them to ask. They said TRUST is not available for non-WWAMI students unfortunately, but they did emphasize that there were plenty of alternatives for these students if they were interested in rural medicine.Does anyone know if the TRUST program is only for WWAMI residents? I am non-WWAMI and it did not show up as part of my secondary.
Thanks -
I interviewed 11/30 and was SUC'd yesterday. Would love to hear from anyone else from our day tho, particularly if they were accepted or rejected
