Congratulations guys, I hope to get the call soon too! Just a question, who called you? In past years it was your interviewer, people in the admissions office, etc.
 
Does anyone know the order in which they call? Is it alphabetical?

I think I was just called by one of the faculty members, since I didn't recognize the name at all!

This is largely anecdotal evidence, but I personally knew a good amount of people who were admitted during the first wave, and it appears that they called based on alphabetical order of last names.
 
Just got the call now! Last name starts with S. Interviewed in mid January. Did people hear back about scholarships on the call or does that information come out later?

Uh oh, my last name begins with M. Interviewed in Nov

During the first wave, they did scholarships on the call, and I believe that was how they said they were going to do it on my interview date.
 
Does anyone know if the calls will be over the course of a couple days? or if we don't hear back today, should we assume we have been put on the waitlist? If the alphabetical calling is true, I believe I have already been passed up. Trying not to lose hope.

In December, calls were distributed over 2-3 days

nobody knows the answers to these questions for sure so keep stressin
 
Are we thinking that they're done for the day? I'm guessing so, and that more calls will go out tomorrow.

I doubt it's alphabetical. I received the call on the second day of calls in December and my last name is early in the alphabet. It's not over yet!

I can't imagine they've all gone out, since I would expect more people to have posted if so, and I doubt they would do it alphabetically over multiple days... especially since somebody got in today with an S last name. I'm guessing those of us still waiting are still in the running for tomorrow and maybe Wednesday (especially if they don't make calls for very many hours each day).
 
Just drove through Nashville. Was trying to send "please call me" vibes but it hasn't worked yet congrats everyone!!

Is this the final decision day? When do we find out about rejections/waitlists?

I asked about it, but they said I didn't receive a merit scholarship.
 
Has anyone who has not been accepted seen a portal update or received an email about rejection/waitlist?

So no news in the last 3 hours? This wait is brutal... especially when you don't know if they have finished calling or not.
 
Congrats to those accepted! This wait is really really tough as this was one of my top choices. I'm with all of you still waiting...

Do we think there will more calls tonight or a third day of calls?

I would have guessed that they wouldn't go super late in their time zone, but then again there seem to have been some somewhat late calls last night, looking at people's comments on this thread. So... who knows?
 
My guess is that it's over. 2 days of calls and then we'll wait until Thursday to get waitlisted.

Well, though you may well be right, I'm going to go on hoping not... At least until tomorrow. I have two more schools which should be calling this week, one of them supposedly starting tomorrow... and also taking 2-3 days. This could either turn into a great week or a very long, depressing one.
 
I heard that calls will go out throughout the week and everyone will know waitlist or accept by Friday.
