Hey all, it’s only the 16th. You may not receive your letter for the better part of a week. I was accepted back in November, and here’s how it went down: adcom met on the 15th, made their decisions and had letters drawn up to be mailed off. Letters were completed, stuffed in envelopes and put in the mail (i.e. campus mail system, to be passed along to usps). Mail was actually sorted and postmarked on the 16th. I received my letter late on the 20th, despite living 15 minutes from campus. I drop off my acceptance form at the med school office on the 21st. Online status finally updates to reflect my acceptance roughly a week later.

Don’t get too riled up just yet. I’ll bet nobody gets anything until Monday at the earliest.

Oh man, and you've been waiting for a decision since? I know they said it could take a long time for your name to come up at the committee but geez! Hopefully you hear good news next week!
 
If only there was a way to notify people of their decisions immediately with a quicker route of delivery than snail mail...

(That being said I’m pretty sure u can call admissions and ask if they discussed your app/if there was a decision.)
 
Has anyone received letters since they were mailed out on the 15th?

Wonder what’s going on this month. Maybe admissions figured out some people are able to see if they got accepted earlier than they wanted to so they put a stop to it

Congrats. You can only check this portal if you went to Indiana for undergrad right?
 
Another month of waiting it is. I guess they don't say patience is a virtue for no reason🙁

It seems like the one.iu portal has changed for those who've been accepted. Mine didn't, and based on previous months it seems like there are never any false positives for finding out that way.
 
Yeah no portal change for me, see everyone again in March! About to hit the 6 month mark for waiting!
 
That’s the portal for previous Indiana students only right?
 
Well it looks like some people who interviewed back in September are only finding out this month so try to keep up hope.
 
All those awaiting decisions, hang in there! Anyone have any idea when the campus assignments come out?
 
You will receive an email regarding your responsibilities as a future physician. Sometimes the email arrives before the letter. I received the email one day before the mail arrived.
