II today after complete silence since July/August. Someone might have asked this earlier, but is anyone willing to share a bit about their interview experience at CMS? Pros v. cons of the interview day or the school in general? I'm considering accepting the II, but attending the interview would be super expensive (I'd have to fly in) and I already have an acceptance at a school I really really like which is close to home. Any advice would be appreciated 🙂

Did you know that North Chicago is an hour or more north of Chicago?

Were these rejections from people who got the hold email or is there no verdict on that yet?

Rejected pre-II. Complete early August. Received the under consideration email.

Rejected pre-II complete early August. Good luck everyone!

Hi y'all, jumping on this thread for the first time. From the last few pgs it seems there's an assortment of responses: II, hold emails, and post-hold email rejections.

I've been complete since mid-August and silence since then (no hold email). I know no update letters are accepted. Any advice for me- would it be advisable to send an email inquiry, or call the office?

Does anyone know what the acceptance rate is post-interview?

If someone says they know they're probably making it up. xD Could ask Admissions but I doubt they'll have an actual number.

Actually all you need is an MSAR subscription and you could do the math by looking up how many acceptances were given and how many interviews were done last year. Acceptances divided by interviews x 100 = post interview acceptance %. I’d do it myself except my subscription ended last month🙁

You kind of just proved his point. MSAR doesn't give acceptances. It gives matriculants.

Since it would give a lower bound though (i.e., if 100% of accepted applicants matriculated) and my MSAR subscription is still active:
IS: 1420 applications, 393 interviewed, 1 deferred, 89 matriculated
OOS: 9832 applications, 617 interviewed, 2 deferred, 94 matriculated
Int'l: 842 applications, 20 interviewed, 1 deferred, 8 matriculated
That would make for accepted/interviewed ratios at least 22.9% IS, 15.6% OOS and 45.0% Int'l.

Have you not learned yet that none of those things will give you an indication if youre going to get an II or rejection

It could give you an idea of how far along they are in the review process. Having a date may tell you if they are still reviewing applicants who have applied before you or if they have already had a chance to review yours. No need to be so condescending.

His point was that, if one has been paying attention to the countless people who've posted this information before, there is absolutely no discernable trend. People have been received decisions who were complete before and after everyone. It's meaningless

Does anyone know if we are allowed to bring guests (parents) to the admitted student visit day in February? Do people normally bring guests with them to the second look day at RFUMS?
