ACCEPTED!! My first one!!

Complete 8/22, 8/10 CASPER, LizzyM 70, IS, Interviewed 10/6.

Well done to everyone who received acceptances!! To those who didn't, I wish you all the luck in the world. It took me three years to gain an acceptance. Keep grinding away and you will make it happen!!

Congratz guys. I interviewed on 10/22 and am anxious to hear back. You guys had a super quick turnaround.
 
Seems to be that a majority of acceptances right now are IS students.
 
I feel so silly asking this but is there a portal for this school? I got the complete email 10/4 but I have yet to find a way to access a portal for them to view my status..

Nope! You will be emailed if considered for an interview. Check your spam regularly as the emails can sometimes wind up there.
 
Interviewed last year but was rejected. Application under review as of 9/10 but haven't heard anything since. Do I stand a good chance at receiving an interview? I know the adcom is different year to year, but I've only strengthened my application since and staying optimistic

Congrats to everyone accepted! I'm truly pumped for all of you.

I'm guessing they send Rejections in batches because I interviewed on 9/15 (the first interview day) and have yet to hear back. Really weird though because I thought I killed the interview. I guess only time will tell.

I would be surprised. When they invite you to interview, they give you one interview date option. If you add yourself to the waitlist, you can get one more interview date to choose from. They have a warning that if you're unable to attend one of the two dates that they offer, you rescind your II. It's definitely the least flexible school in terms of interviewing that I've seen so far.

Wow... I had no idea we had that policy. I'm bringing this up with Admissions so hopefully we can make scheduling interviews more flexible for you guys.
 
You dont always get one interview date option, just depends on which spots have filled up. When I was choosing my interview I had three choices.

It's just a general guideline at this point. Also, it could be that they have already evaluated your application but haven't sent out their hold or rejection emails yet.
 
Hello,

Is anyone in a situation where they are still waiting for the complete email? I submitted the secondary on 9/22 and wrote the 9/17 Casper.

I think they only offer one or two dates near the beginning of the cycle so they ensure they fill all the interview day spots. They mentioned that so far applicants were able to make it to waitlist dates, but if those don't work for you, definitely call them to work something out!

Hmm... that's interesting. Thanks a lot for checking into it. Im a little surprised that they said that, as the response seems a little incongruent with what I understood from the email they sent me. The email from adcoms said, "You can either sign up for that date, or add yourself to the waitlist within the interview tool. Please know that if you add yourself to the waitlist, you will be automatically added to the next available date when it opens. Should you be unable to make that date, you will forfeit your invitation and we will cancel your application. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!"

I didn't reply with any questions, as the explanation seemed pretty clear (and rigid!).
