cGPA 3.2 sGPA 3.5 MCAT 512, real good EC and real good story.
For those who recently interviewed, did Adcoms mention how active admission processes will be in the upcoming weeks now that they are beginning to move downtown? This is super exciting, but I hope they send more IIs before the new year.

Yes they did mention it. Anyone who has interview already can contact them for a tour of the new school in January.
Has anyone received any status updates other than IIs? do they send stuff by email?

How did you feel about the interview?
I felt very good about it. Had great conversations with my interviewers and found they often strayed from their original line of questioning because they were just letting the conversation dictate their questions. They told me to expect a response the very next day but I was trying my best to manage my expectations. Happily, it seems that my intuition was right!
Wish I was accepted. Was put on the WL. Anyone know how its ranked? I dont see how they can soley base it off the interview score.

I don't think anyone knows TBH unless you're on the admissions committee at UB... lol Yes, I highly doubt they solely base it off the interview score. My general knowledge/assumption--based on what I've gathered from other threads-- is that your AMCAS app is probably given some kind of a numerical score prior to the interview invite, and your interview score gets added onto your app score to create a final score/rank/decision. Just my guess
I'd be inclined to agree with primary71. My LizzyM was ~76 so to be fair I probably had a bit of a rank advantage going into the interview.

Sometime in late July, no status change - Buffalo reviews pretty randomly
I'm interviewing here soon and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a tour of the campus that occurs outside? I'm from a state that doesn't really have seasons so I'm not really sure how to dress for the cold and knowing if I'm going to be outside for extended amounts of time would help me prepare on what to buy clothing wise!
The tour is all inside. But bring a coat anyway Buffalo is kinda cold this time around.
Did you interview at the new downtown campus or the old one on UB South Campus (Main Street)?

For those filling out FASFA and trying to add this school to your list, does anyone know the appropriate school to add? In the list I can't find specifically "Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences", but the regular UB university/undergrad school is there. I figured the latter is sufficient but figured I would ask.

I got a weird text message saying verification code for your secure Buffalo state wifi enrollment? Send on behalf of suny buffalo state. Checked my application status and it just says "secondary received" What does this mean???
Buffalo state is not that same as university of buffalo. Are you a Buff State student?

Also, Buffalo State does't even have a medical school. Just in case, you could call UB admissions to make sure that it's spam?
I know you asked this like ages ago, but since October it looks like everyone has been receiving their II's on a Tuesday....its weird because I don't see any trend like that in last year's thread or before October. But anyway, I have way too much time on my hands.

ii for buffalo next month, wasn't strongly considering the school until I read about the new campus and high preponderance of scholarships... has anyone seen the new campus yet?
