Complete 08/11 and now have a green checkmark - do we know what this means?

If I were you I would take it. They don't offer exams whenever though, I think the next one is on the 15th. If anything, I could see it looking bad for you to show up without having done a component of the app. They obviously like you. Don't give them a reason to doubt you or your interest in them, especially since casper is so easy. Took me like 75 mins.

I second that. I didn't mind Casper. They need it to get a sense of your emotional intelligence, and I much preferred Casper to MMIs for that purpose.
 
Anybody complete 7/25 still not hear anything? I got green check mark 19 days ago so almost 3 weeks but haven't heard anything still

I was complete 07/21 and had the green checkmark on august 1st or 2nd and still haven't heard back lol

I wonder if they put people on silent hold until people cancel their interviews later in the cycle to go to other ones. I know they reject people outright I would just rather they let me know now then wait a month or two haha

Yeah. They probably mix in some Regular Decision applicants in with the early ones since there are so few ED ones. I guess I'm the only ED person on SDN for Tulane this cycle.

I guess we may never know, but I too am in a similar situation. I agree that it could be a silent holding list for later II's, but I guess it could also be that they don't review in order or one or two reviewers took a week long vacation and are behind or something. Either way, silence sucks but if we were rejected they'd say something I think.

Rejected!! I knew it since I got the green check mark on August 11th and it has been more than 2 weeks. lol expected im cool with that.

When were you complete? I have been complete since 7/24 and had the check mark for some time now

Just looking for some info. I'm in a completely different part of the country so news coverage is focusing on Florida. Not sure if local New Orleans residents are anticipating anything and thought I'd check in here.

Just giving you a hard time, as hurricanes are notoriously difficult to predict accurately and meteorologists just use computer generated models to provide a best guess. You will definitely know more about its impact to New Orleans specifically by this weekend/Sunday. If your interview in late September is impacted then things must have gotten pretty awful and God help the gulf coast.
 
Does this help you, @saffe94 ? New Orleans isn't freaking out yet but if you have a mid to late September interview it's definitely something I would watch. Hopefully it won't hit Louisiana but if it comes close, ideally it's good to be on the west side of it rather than the east side. Usually some weather service makes a big red cone and if you're in the cone you worry about it and if you're not, you don't. It's a little too soon for the cone for the northern Gulf Coast.

Finally got the green check mark today! Submitted 8/7. Hopefully it's not another month of waiting....
 
Has anybody else going for an interview signed up for the room with a student thing? I did and haven't heard anything yet. I'm wondering how far out they assign you to someone...mine is <1 month now

For those of you that got interview invitations, are you guys submitting your CASPer scores? Not sure if I want to submit mine or not...if I did poor in it, I don't want it to badly affect my application. Any advice is appreciated.

Do you think you did poorly on it? Its very possible that upon final review not having a CASPer score while eveyone else does will negatively affect your application too. I personally submitted my scores before I got an II.

I haven't heard either and I'm at three weeks now. I'm thinking I'm just gonna get a hotel at this point.

I was complete around late July and got the green check mark after about 4 ish weeks, and then heard back in about 3-4 weeks. I would just give it some time because it'll take Tulane a while to get through all of the applications.
