Did any of you guys take the 8/30 CASPer and if so, did you guys send it to Tulane? I'm unsure whether or not I should send it to Tulane.

Not sure, apparently there are people who submitted late July who still haven't received a green checkmark yet. While people in early August are starting to get checkmarks.

Tulane is just perfect. Literally perfect. Interview process is very relaxed and the admissions staff/students couldn't be more friendly.

Casper related question: Does anybody think that they take into account the video as part of the grading? The reason I ask is that when I took my test I was housesitting and I locked myself in the house to take the test only to be interrupted by my sister knocking on the glass door. Not knowing what to do I waved frantically for her to go away and now I am scared they will think I am crazy. . . story of my life haha.

I haven't heard either and I'm at three weeks now. I'm thinking I'm just gonna get a hotel at this point.

Has anybody else going for an interview signed up for the room with a student thing? I did and haven't heard anything yet. I'm wondering how far out they assign you to someone...mine is <1 month now

I asked this question too, and then someone let me know they have to sign a non-disclosure agreement before they do it. The general word is it's fine and not to worry.

Hopefully it's a patient simulation instead of a stimulation. Not sure if that's legal.

I'm 100% positive that your whole file gets reviewed at the adcom meeting. I think I read on Tulane's website that your interviewers write written summaries about you, which are added to your file and your file is then considered complete.

From what I've seen in last year's thread, most of the people who received green check marks throughout mid september were rejected by late september/early October. The remainder held onto their green check mark for much longer and received an interview in November/December/January.

Almost positive they grade you solely on your responses that you typed up! even if not, I'm sure that kind of stuff happens on the web cam all the time.

This, however GW likes to put a lot of people on hold and then reject them later whereas Tulane will just reject you immediately.

I don't feel like GW books out like Tulane. It just seems that everyone is put on re-review. I don't hear the GW forum complaining how the interviews are full until March etc.

Rejected (2nd one so far). Complete 9/31. Green checkmark sometime mid-August. CASPer 9/7 (received an interview at another CASPer school).

I think being complete "late" for Tulane hurt my chances since I have received II at other schools with higher stats. Best of luck to everyone interviewing here!

So based on the threads from the last two years it looks like the first set of interview invites have already gone out. If people complete before and after you have been rejected, you're in some sort of ranked pool of applicants that are in an "interviewable" range. Come mid to late October, as people start to get acceptances elsewhere and cancel their interviews/acceptances here, you'll see some more II's come out. Lots and lots of rejections are incoming for September and October though.

I got an interview at a more competitive school and they received my CASPer results, so I doubt it could ever hurt you. It seems like it's a very basic assessment.
