I submitted primaries around 6/20 and received an email from Vanderbilt on 7/10 that they received my application. However, I have yet to receive a secondary or be denied. Do you think I should email them? Thoughts?
if you do let me know im in the same boat

I just submitted my secondary: it says I am under review but i never got any confirmation email????

Also, when i submitted my primary i got my secondary the next day. is that a good sign or does it mean nothing? i have lm of 79

Still not under review, still no clock :/ complete mid-July.

Did anyone get a complete email?

Also: I just applied and I have the clock— could this simply be a software thing— could the browser you use make a difference? I had a clock immediately after I submitted...

Submitted primary 9/24
Invited to submit secondary 9/25
I submitted 9/26 and clock came immediately

what are your stats like? I have a theory it may be stats / demographics based, and more desirable applicants (maybe higher scored from their secondary screening process or something) tend to go under review faster than less desirable ones

We keep coming up with all these theories. Honestly there’s no way to know as these schools wouldn’t disclose any information. I know this may sound crazy I think that we’ve all done our part and now we have no other option than to just wait.

I had the clock for a couple days after submitting my secondary. It’s been grey since without a clock (~1.5 months). I feel like the initial clock is some kind of processing thing. But if it happens again, they’re probably actively reviewing your app. Maybe the pre process to decide how competitive you are to decide how much they value your app... le sigh

Clock most likely means the application is at that particular step. My interview is in a couple weeks and I have a clock in the interview "tab" right now.

Hi all, I am new to this forum and hoping that someone could help answer some questions. i would like to preface my question with the fact that I am a Canadian applicant so I have no experience navigating the US system and I just found out about rolling admissions.

I had my application verified on AMCAS on Monday and received my Vanderbilt secondary and application received emails earlier today. As a late applicant at this stage should I still be cautiously optimistic seeing how I received a secondary relatively quickly? Also would someone mind filling me in on what "II" means?

Thank you all in advance!

II is Interview invite and probably nothing to read into secondary so quick as there is probably no longer a backup to review primary application
