just called admissions! the lady confirmed decisions would go out today "via email or mail" and "by the end of the day." we're almost there folks, but I for one am headed to the gym because if I'll be checking my phone every 5 minutes, it might as well be between sets
good luck to everyone today!

edit: after a month of nothing but waitlists and rejections, i could not love cornell more (not that they weren't already one of my top choices before)

lm low 70s, dreams do come true :'))))

do they reject many people post II? want to know if this WL is a soft R or not

I think previous posts have said that they only accept their total class size initially, so WL should still be a decent chance. No idea how often they give Rs post-II tho

I was also WL’d so it may be wishful thinking lol

Waitlisted, interviewed on the very last interview day (2/28)!

Waitlisted as well! Is anyone writing anything in the "anything else we should know" portion? Should we use it as a quick update/LOI?

Congratulations everyone who got accepted, can't wait to see y'all at 2nd look and try to figure out who is from here =)). Kidding (kinda). For everyone that got waitlisted, WCMC has a lot of waitlist movement; a lot of my classmates came from the WL.
I remember earlier on in the cycle, someone mentioned that WCMC is moving towards a debt-free initiative this year? Can you confirm or deny lol

From our student council meeting in Nov: "WCM to make announcement in 2019 about debt-free tuition".

We also have a thing called breakfast with the dean every month(?), and we asked him about it last semester and last I heard it was supposed to be announced March/April.

Dumb question but... What is debt-free tuition? Does that mean that there still is a tuition fee but that is covered by grants, donors, etc?
