I interviewed 10-30 and haven't heard. I agree with Ksvpn: The committee seems to meet every other week which means they will likely announce more decisions next week. Also, take Ksvpn advice. Don't put yourself through the emotional roller coaster of waiting. My experience was the same as Ksvpn and it was awful. I am not going to do that again. I will hear when the admissions committee makes a decision and I am not going to assume when that will be.

One observation: it seems as though a fairly large group of people who interviewed in the last week of October didn't hear anything. In terms of those who posted here, more people posted that they didn't hear anything than those who posted that they were accepted or rejected. That is puzzling to me, but I have no idea what it means.

I think the reason they didn't get back to us yet is because they just did not have enough time to review everyone's application. I do not think it means anything significant that we haven't heard back yet.

I interviewed the 8th and same! I keep getting scared (i.e. I had a dream last night this happened) if I see an email with a portal update without getting a call it means bad news but I'm sure some people don't get a call and still get in.....right....?

i was thinking the same thing about the email, i guess it’s possibly that they send an email before you get the phone call

i didn’t even get the medical center discount because the hotel was “sold out” of them, lol how do you sell out of a discount

Lol, so it’s like when a couple books a block of rooms for their wedding guests to stay at for a discounted rate. The school will organize a deal with the hotel to reserve maybe 20 rooms (just a guess) for each interview day, so that when you call and mention that you’re coming to town for that purpose you get the discount. The school likely doesn’t reserve the exact number of rooms as interviewees because X many will make their own arrangements and the school will have to pay for any of the reserved rooms that don’t get filled.

Yes I had an issue w scheduling. I emailed right away and asked for days of the week I would prefer- they were very accommodating

There are a lot of 10/30 interviewees who haven’t heard back yet so don’t get your hopes too high if you were 11/8. Better to not expect it and be pleasantly surprised than to think you’ll hear from them and then hear nothing like we did two weeks ago!

On November 8th we were told our app was going to committee in 5 days. Obviously didn't happen. The lack of feedback on thanksgiving makes sense if some members were already out on vacation. If we don't hear back tomorrow we're looking at 2 weeks into the new year, 9 weeks after our interview. Ya it comes when it comes but if I was putting money down I would say tomorrow.

I can understand why people are frustrated about the response times. I really do not understand why they overstate how fast they are at getting back to applicants if they do not actually do that. I'm pretty positive I'll hear back because I interviewed on 10/30 but I hope all of you 11/8 people get an answer as well.

For sure. Prepare for the worst, and nothing being guaranteed are 2 big lessons from this cycle. I don’t mean to sound like I “expect it” like it’s owed, I just think it’s a logical outcome. Best of luck

They told me on my acceptance call that the portal change would happen at 1pm today.

Hi all, interviewing here soon. Was wondering if the MMI had a dedicated interview station or "why cinncinati" station or if it was all scenario type questions. Any other advice would also be appreciated!

If you search on Youtube for MMI there are a bunch of Youtube videos on preparing for MM interviews. I found them to be helpful for giving a framework for how to respond to a variety of different types of MMI stations. I suspect that they change up the stations with each set of interviews so I don't think there is any way to anticipate exactly what you will encounter, but having a framework for thinking about how to respond to different types of stations is helpful. There is one series of videos that walks you through 16 different types of stations that is worth listening to. You can speed up the playback speeds if you are short on time. I would highly recommend spending time watching some of these videos so that you aren't walking into the stations without any idea how to respond to what you may encounter. I encountered a mix of difficult scenarios, including one with a distraught actor and several with fairly standard interview questions. That being said, I didn't think that the interviews were as stressful as I anticipated. They do a good job of making the day enjoyable and putting you at ease.

I noticed a lot of people who hasn't heard from 10/30 got good news! Congrats to all and hope to join you come January 😊

Now just wondering if sending an update w final fall grades would be worth it considering I just sent a thank you+midterm grades update after my interview 🤔
