is it too late to apply to this school? i believe i fit the mission of the school and really regret not applying earlier...

For those who got the acceptance call did they call in the morning or afternoon?
 
At my interview they said that they only notify you of an acceptance by email and snail mail. They also mentioned it would be in the morning.
 
For those who interviewed 11/22, do you think we'll hear back after the winter break?

Im betting it will probably be at least a week or two away. Cavalieri said it will be closer to the 5 week mark

Ya current M1 as well and still not 100% what percentage get honors. It’s pretty tough to honor tbh. Mid to high 90’s is what I think you need because I haven’t honored and have gotten a low 90 on a block.
 
Anyone know if Creighton give out merit scholarships?

I believe so! But tbh, extremely low yield. Like the majority of med schools in the US, most students will be taking out a decent amount of loans. Just part of the game.

Usually only around 5-10 people come off one January with the number is May verifying. Admissions has said some year there has been little to zero movement and some years up to 40 spots. I can off the waitlist June 10th and am a current M1. So don’t lose hope guys! I sent periodic updates about service I was doing and a job I had taken over the summer as well as a letter of intent after my number one school placed me on the low tier of their waitlist. Willing to answer any questions

On my interview day they highly encouraged updates of any kind if one was waitlisted so I think LOI + continuous updates spread throughout the year would look very good
