anyone have recommendations on where to stay overnight?

i stayed in the student guest house and it was great! $85 for one person - they provide breakfast and drive you to the interview in the morning, and then you walk home afterwards but it's only a 5-10min walk! tea, who is the host, is super nice! i would email early to reserve a spot tho since their space is limited. this is their website: studentguesthouseMD

Hey all, I am interviewing on 1/27 and I have a rental car. I'm staying at an Airbnb like 15 min north of Drexel if anyone needs a ride to the interview or to the airport afterward! I'm interviewing in the morning.

edit: PM me if interested. First come first serve

A heads up they do have a shuttle that picks up and drops off from a couple locations around philly and next to the UG campus that will take you to the medical school. You can get a free bus pass for the day. I ubered to the interview and rode the bus back, if you allow yourself enough time you could bus there as well.

Is the parking better at those other locations? I know you can pay $10 to park in the visitor's lot

I parked on the street just off campus. I had no trouble getting a spot, and it was free. I got there about 30 minutes before the morning interview day began.

Does anyone know if there's a tapered-off schedule before the 6 week dedicated study time year 2?

Sounds like there's a group interview here with a current medical student. How do the group interviews here work? Do they typically ask a question and have everyone answer it one by one?

It’s super casual. Questions asked are stuff like what do you do for fun lol

did they say whether there would be a second look day for admitted students?
When the dean spoke on the phone with me regarding the acceptance, she mentioned one, but I can't seem to find anything about one on their website, etc

i seemed to remember that from my conversation with her but I wasn’t sure since I hadn’t seen anything else about one

Yes, I was told it will be on April 18th and that there will be a new tab that shows up on the portal soon with more information.

Im sure this has been asked, but does Drexel ever pull from the hold list or is it a silent rejection?
