I am in the same situation as you and have not heard back as well. This is typical of any school during the long interview season that runs until March. It is just as likely to not hear until March as it is for you to hear today. Patience is an inevitable characteristic of this process.

did you ever get a complete email? I got the Va residency confirmation but never actually got an email stating my application is complete. It’s been 6 weeks since I sent the secondary.

Interviewed first week of October and was placed on the middle third of the WL today -- not gonna lie I'm having a hard time trying to stay optimistic. This cycle has been brutal so far...

Not sure if they tell you when they initially place you on the WL, but they allow you to call and check which third you're in (called tiers).

Question - in the acceptance email it just says "Send all transcripts." If you did it already, did you send yours electronically or via mail, and to what address??

I called about this and they said that is something we will get instructions on how to do later like after December. They said all we have to do now is put the deposit down and accept the offer.

Plenty of people get in off the waitlist, and top 1/3 is where you want to be! That being said, not everyone off the top third will get in (myself being an example of that last year haha), and sometimes they’ll skip over the top third and take someone off the middle third if that person better fits the demographic they’re looking for to replace whoever has dropped. I think I’m general there’s more WL movement for OOS folks.

I don't think there is anyway to check the status of your application on their portal. They typically email you directly regarding any updates on your application.

that is awesome! I was given II last week and November were the earliest dates. They specifically told me that I wouldn’t be able to reschedule once it was scheduled, dunno if anyone has tried to call in and reschedule nonetheless.

I have other acceptances from a few DO programs already, however I would like to go to EVMS because I am much closer in location, my dad went, it's an MD program, Etc. I just kind of wanted to gauge some opinions on here about how I should proceed.

I have until early December to submit my deposit and officially accept one of these offers. I know that EVMS hands out interviews into like March. Do ya'll think I should wait until like the last week in November and if I haven't received an interview by then I should accept one of the DO offers and pay?

I know that I should accept one of those offers as opposed to holding out on hopes that EVMS would invite me. I just am kind of afraid of losing a couple grand in my deposit if things did pan out for the EVMS process.

I wouldn't risk it. I understand your hesitation because I was in the same dilemma until I recently received an MD acceptance, but I really wouldn't risk losing a guaranteed acceptance at medical schools
