Wow... insane amount of interviews! Congrats! And you’re a PA?! I’m definitely intimidated lol
Thank you.It's the same.
It says in their secondary email "Howard does not accept fee waivers under any circumstances."anyone knows if they accept FAP? i have FAP and I didn't see any place about the payment after I submitted and I received the under review email immediately after submission
Your profile on the CASPer website tells you whether your results have been delivered to the school you selected.Has anyone gotten confirmation that CASPer results have been received? I got an email that stated secondary has been received and file is under full review, but no confirmation on whether CASPer has been received.
did you submit your secondary on the first day?II today

I am.Anyone interviewing on 9/24?
Only people on the admissions committee would know thatAnyone know the order of which they are sending out interview invites?
I’m actually a reapplicant and I could be wrong but I also noticed they weren’t sent in chronological order! But rather most people with higher stats got IIs before everyone else !A couple of posts from the 2018-2019 mentioned that interview invites are not sent in chronological order. But who knows if that is actually the case.
Do you mind sharing your stats and complete date?ii today

Did anyone who interviewed so far actually print out the confirmation email? I just noticed that the instructions said to print it out and I'm at an Airbnb with no printer -_-....
Can you tell us your thoughts about the school/students?Just interviewed! You are fine—we didn't need it. Just make sure you know where to go.
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. Howard's MCAT and GPA average is 503 and 3.47 so you are well above average.I received my secondary app confirmation 9/16. My CASper was probably delivered sometime early this week or late last week. I applied for the MD/PhD program I know I have ****ty stats for it but I was like doesn't hurt to try because I am an international student from Ethiopia and I can't pay for medical school or get student loans. Give it to me straight..... they probably are not considering me right?
MCAT: 511 GPA: 4.00
+1 Wondering about this, too. Did you just do your CASPer today, too, or nah?Not sure if this has already been asked, but did y’all who got interview invites already have your Casper submitted?
1) Don’t accept rejection from anywhere until the rejection comes.I went to low tier school so the GPA is not that significant. I am also an international student and from what I have gathered med schools rarely give us a chance unless we have crazy high stats. Plus I applied to the MD/PhD program which is very competitive. For real though, how long should I wait after they receive my CASper to decide if I have been rejected or not?
Nah I had work, but I just saw that the next available date is 10/23+1 Wondering about this, too. Did you just do your CASPer today, too, or nah?
1) Don’t accept rejection from anywhere until the rejection comes.
2)Plan for rejection from everywhere until the acceptance comes.
3) Win.
We win or we learn, man. Those are the only options.Thanks. I was super pessimistic about my chances this cycle so I only applied to two other schools and got a rejection from them a day after I turned in my secondaries. I am planning on getting a job and taking a gap year to work on my extracurricular stuff. So trust me boss I am going to win eventually.
I don’t know what all schools you applied to, but mine told me today (9/26) was the latest possible CASPer to be on time for everywhere. Good luck with it and brush up on your typing speed!Nah I had work, but I just saw that the next available date is 10/23
Thanks for the heads up! I checked my schools on the CASPer site and it said the latest date for me is early NovemberI don’t know what all schools you applied to, but mine told me today (9/26) was the latest possible CASPer to be on time for everywhere. Good luck with it and brush up on your typing speed!
In Canada, there is no such thing as being medically underserved because of free healthcare everywhere, but definitely living a childhood until recently in very poor economic and social conditions is a thing (which I believe is being disadvantaged), surely affecting one's upbringing (like myself).
If one were to have all the cookie cutter ECs (hospital, shadowing, research, etc etc), as well as a couple things helping others that are also disadvantaged, including activities like food bank and volunteering to help immigrants/newcomer, both activities which involve helping people of every color in less fortunate circumstances, could a Canadian actually be reasonably eligible for fitting in this school's mission?
In addition, Asian --> middle eastern, stats are much above the school's medians (LizzyM 69.4).
Personally I am fond of this school due to what they hope to do for the underserved, the fact they even accept Canadians, and where the school is located.
Did anyone who interviewed on Tuesday get that "Interview thank you" email?
Those who interviewed, where did y'all stay? Hotels are super expensive for 1 night.
I stayed in an Airbnb! I found one five minutes from campus that was great. DC hotels do too much and I felt like the hostels wouldn’t give me the peace I needed lol.
