Anyone notice that under the Secondary Application instructions it says thanks for applying for the entering class in July 2019?

Got the complete and under review email this morning. I submitted last night at 12:30 AMish CST.

Lmao they don’t accept fee waivers AND make you redo all the course work that’s in my primary application.

This secondary is a NOPE from me; good luck everyone!

The courses are all there from your primary. All you have to do is select the courses that correspond to each prerequisite and it took me approximately two minutes. I understand your reservation regarding the fee waiver though.

Yeah just bummed about the fee waiver but whatever you win some you lose some.

Is it okay to repeat some information from my disadvantaged explanation from the primary app onto to the secondary question?

Hey, I've gotten enough interviews. This late in the game, I'm not looking to blow an additional 75$ on a secondary while on FAP. I apologize for bothering y'all, but I can't seem to locate a way to withdraw my application?

I cant either. Perhaps call them and let them know?
Congrats on the interviews!

People with interviews did you ever get your application is under review email?

Wow what a quick turnaround.
What are yalls stats and what II dates are offered?

@PapaGuava In case secondary prompts are still needed, they are the same as before with some slightly different wording.

Have you lived in communities which are medically underserved, or where the majority of the population is economically and/or educationally disadvantaged? (Please indicate, Yes or No and then explain/describe briefly in 250 words or less)

Have you worked (volunteer or paid employment) with medically underserved, economically disadvantaged and/or educationally disadvantaged populations? (Please indicate, Yes or No and then explain/describe briefly in 250 words or less)

After residency, do you plan to practice medicine in an underserved or disadvantaged community? (Please indicate, Yes or No and then explain/describe briefly in 250 words or less)

Please provide below any additional information you believe is important in evaluating your application (e.g. additional coursework, problems with academic record; disadvantaged, etc.) (Please indicate, Yes or No and then explain/describe briefly in 250 words or less)

II’s only in September in the email: 9/18, 9/24, 9/25

3.88 engineering, 510

Congrats! When did you submit secondary? Did you ever get your application is under review email?

Those who were put under review already, have you all done your Casper tests? I’m just trying to figure out if they’ll consider you complete without the results of the test.

So you were complete without CASPER? Did you submit a photo and your prereqs?

Yep! I submitted both the photo and prereqs, as that was the part of the secondary itself lol. Tbh, I’ve heard many schools are still trying to figure out how to actually use CASper in the evaluation process. So while it’s definitely required for them, I’m not sure at what point in the review process it’s actually taken into account. Last year’s thread mentioned it being used for students after they interviewed (someone called to ask).

photo upload was not there yesterday when I did my secondary, but i saw it just now. damn

Kind of a silly question but in our responses, do we literally state "Yes, I have worked with medically underserved populations...?"
