I'm interviewing 9/9 so that is at least the first day, but I can't remember if there was one beforehand. Pretty sure I tried to get the earliest I could though so that should be the first.
 
How would the 3-year track work for getting into the Psych/Neuro combined residency? Would you just be a hybrid of the Psych and Neuro accelerated tracks?
 
So I just received an interview invite from Columbia—is it considered acceptable to contact NYU and let them now that I will be in NYC for such-and-such date? I’ve heard of other students doing this but I can’t find anything to suggest NYU is receptive to these notifications outside of personal anecdotes.

Acceptable to Cornell if you are traveling a long way.

Yes. I'm pretty sure that's what they're asking. The gap year is the time you'll be taking off after finishing college. So I wrote about the gap year I'm taking
 
I totally felt that the CASPer steam rolled me... and I'm a bit below their average stats too so I thought I was doomed but just got an ii today 9/6 and was complete on 7/19. There is hope! (for now until I arrive with all those premeds who helped cure rare pediatric diseases and they realized what a mistake they made letting me interview lol)
 
So stoked to get an II. Also a bit weirded out since I submitted the secondary 6-7 days ago and never got a complete email.. In fact when I saw the email titled “NYU SOM In...” I totally thought I was in trouble and it said “Incomplete.”
Are they just blazing through apps?

Meanwhile I'm still waiting to be complete at schools whose secondaries I submitted weeks ago, the admissions process is a strange thing.
I'm URM though, which might've gotten my app looked at faster here.

Interview dates I saw were in the last seven days of Oct for anyone wondering what's available.

My guess is that it was way before you were born when Bucky Dent played ball.

I don't think that's too late. bigger question- is NYU receptive to ITA emails? If they are I think that's totally fine to give it a try!
 
Called the admissions office about this but got a weird answer... so, does anyone know if we are allowed to jot down notes during the MMI? Is paper/pen given or should we bring it?
 
Does anyone know if you are allowed to take notes during the mmi stations, either during the prep time or in the room?

You are allowed to take notes. Overall kinda fun, but I didn't like how short it was. Felt like I couldn't fully explain myself for a couple of the stations. But other than that, not very stressful. Going over bioethics would help for a few of them, but regular interview practice helps as well!
