@CWRU.Sman any comments/updates you're able to share about conclusions from the admissions committee meeting yesterday?
It was a long one last night. Won't get to review the results today as a team due to schedule conflicts. Perhaps tomorrow but it is also a busy interview day. It's a high priority though! Sorry. Hang in there with us! 🙂

It's fine if you want to do that - completely up to you though. I want to be careful here because I don't want to give the perception that if someone decides not to send something that they are at a disadvantage. As an interviewee to the University Program, you have the ability to upload documents including updates and/or LOIs to your application so it's there for you as an option.

@CWRU.Sman Thank you for clarifying your policy for LOIs. I was wondering if we do upload one to the portal, should we address our interviewer and the admissions team? I've never sent a LOI so I'm not sure exactly to whom to address my letter. Thank you for continually decreasing our neuroticism!

Not an expert on this, but I can’t imagine you should address it to your interviewer. Doubt that they would be involved in the processing of your application beyond evaluating your interview performance.

I know the "you do IQ sessions" are optional, but does anyone know if they factor into admission decisions at all?

They say that it doesn't factor into admissions. They likely take attendance though, but that is probably about it. My IQ session was today, but I'm already on the alt list. I'm using the experience as part of an update letter/interest letter that I'm sending this weekend.

anyone know if the faculty interview is with 1 or 2 faculty members? I have two people listed for that on my portal.

I can't imagine attending an hour long session, which you can find on YouTube, would factor into their decision to accept or reject an applicant. I've been accepted and never attended an IQ Session. I think it's more for you to know what you're getting into!

Totally agree, definitely more for the applicant.

I really encourage everyone to do IQ if you have a chance!! It is so central to their teaching method that if it is a great match for your learning style it is great! but I can also see how people might not like the style so its such an informative experience!

Looks like for the last three or so years decisions have been made 10/15 +- couple of days with the next one being around 11/05 +- couple of days

From 2018-2019 thread:

"Ok so update:
I looked at the 2016-2017 and the 2017-2018 Case Western threads.

2017-2018 Admission Decision Dates:
Sun 10/15, Wed 11/8, Wed 12/6, Fri 12/15, Tue 1/9, Wed 1/24, Wed 2/28

2016-2017 Admission Decision Dates:
Mon 10/17, Sat 11/5, Wed 12/14, Wed 1/25, Wed 2/22

So, if I were a betting man, I would say admission decisions will probably come out next Wednesday (11/7) for those who have already interviewed. Or at least by the end of next week.
"
and that year they ended up doing nov 6th as well
