I'm a re-applicant who interviewed at Drew when I last applied. I still have not received a secondary (AMCAS verified 7/13). Should I email the AdCom?

I think they are still reading primaries for applicants and reapplicants alike, and sending out the very first secondaries. Keep yourself busy with other things while waiting 🙂

I emailed them and they said that they’re sending them out as they finish reviewing. Basically the same thing that it says in the primary received email.

Yeah, I haven’t received a secondary yet and I was complete in July as well. I’m hoping that I’ll get one at all. Until then... work!!

I wouldn’t worry. I think it just depends on when they review your app. I added them at the beginning of September and got a secondary like 4 days later if not sooner. You will get one since I got one and my stats are not the best.
 
Hey guys, I just noticed that the school slightly changed the prompt from "List" to "describe" the most significant community, public service, and leadership activities you have been involved in over the last six years. Is that correct? If so, unlike the last year's prompts, we cannot list our activities this time, COrrect? thanks

There are 12 prompts. 1 asks if you're a felon or something. Another asks how you heard about the program . And the Covid prompt is just basically discuss how it affected you ie academics, MCAT, financially, volunteering etc. Those were the last three prompts.
 
wait @ people who completed their secondary and don't have a fee waiver did it take you anywhere to pay? It just said complete and now when I log into the portal I just can view my secondary application.

In the secondary application e-mail, they have a PDF attached that shows how to pay!

You won't be complete until you send in that payment so keep that in mind.

They should had sent you two emails: one email for application and the other email with the link to the payment portal. Just search "ucla" in your inbox and it'll pop up
 
oof you're right! may have procrastinated a bit on this secondary (have been complete at all other schools since early august lmao) so i completely forgot. thanks guys!

Hey, did you have to email the office about the FAP waiver? I sent an email on 9/14 but didn't get a response yet.

A week after submitting, i submitted an additional email stating I submitted my waiver. That's when they emailed me confirming receipt of the supplemental and waiver

People who got first round interviews and had FAP didn't receive a confirmation email. They probably did get it tho. (I know doesn't hurt to email or call again)

Oh that's good to know, I missed that! The call sent me to voicemail and said to email so I'm thinking they probably did get the initial email too. Thank you

I got the "Charles R. Drew/UCLA Admissions - AMCAS Primary Application Received" email on 9/7/2020

I got the application received email on 09/01 and got the secondary on 09/02

Darn that's crazy, My app was verified on August 21st and they received on that date. However, I still haven't received a secondary invite from them.
 
Yeah they acknowledged my primary on sep 20 but still have not gotten it. It is my last secondary and I already had it prewritten from a while ago lmao...tragic
Just looking at last year's thread...the last secondary went out in December even though the last interview date was in December so not sure what that was about. The person completed it but he or she suspected that it was a donation because they was no follow up after submitting it. Pre-II R's went out late December after the last interview date I believe. Someone submitted a secondary on 10/3 that turned into a II a couple days later (person was given a II on 10/8) so fingers crossed for this coming week. After that, I'll probably take the L.

I don’t know what is up with this school. I got my secondary the day after my primary was received. But it’s been longer for a decision after submission of my secondary. Not sure how it works!

I mean it's only been a month since you submitted. That's standard timeline. Keep in mind they have interviews until December so there is plenty of time for you to be offered one. If not, they don't reject people until December it seems so it will just be silence until then. I feel like people without a secondary should be more worried.

I agree. I’m sure secondary turnaround is much faster. It’s just interesting the difference in timelines between everything.
