I'm in same boat. I'm assuming we can't do anything but wait? I hate being in this grey area but I don't want to email and seem pushy.
 
II today! MSTP, OOS, 520 MCAT, 3.68/3.8 s/cGPA. Super excited!

...How do we submit the Dean Evaluation? I don't know if I can just show up at the Dean of Students right now.
 
Has anyone who with an II that submitted their secondary not have their fee received in their portal. It has been three days, and I am pressed. Or is their another place I should be looking to pay this fee?

For me, it took like 10 days for the fee to be marked complete so I would not worry about it if it's only been 3 days.
 
Indiana has reached out to me twice (formally) and (personally).

I swear if they don’t stop playing with me and give me an interview already lmfaooooo.
 
How do deans evaluations work, and can I request one prior to (hopefully) an II so that its ready to go if I receive one?

I got the primary receipt email a couple weeks ago
 
When you all say that IU hasn't "downloaded" your app, you mean that you've sent them your primary but haven't heard back for a secondary, correct?

Yes. I think it also means (at least in some of our cases) that we haven't heard back from IU a confirmation that they've "received/downloaded" our primary app at all.

I'm also in the same boat. I think I submitted my primary to them around 8/1, and it has been radio silence since then. I won't worry about it as it appears there are many of us in this position! Thanks

Indiana has no secondary, having been downloaded means you’ve been screened and means either II or soft rejection I think

They don’t even have a web page that has you pay a fee or select demographic information? I find that hard to believe.

There is a graduate application they ask people to fill out once they've been screened and invited for an interview. It's not exactly the same as a secondary but not completely different. I do believe there is a fee as well.

Do not worry about this -- I received my primary 1.5 months-ish later. I think that they will eventually download your application, and don't put too much emphasis on them downloading it as people have had silence after getting downloaded
 
Has anyone's Deans Eval been marked as received yet? Mine supposedly got sent out 3 weeks ago and it still isn't complete. Is anyone else in the same boat or should I send out an email?

Same. Mine got sent like two weeks ago and it still shows up incomplete.

They will check it off right before you get the interview scheduled in my experience. It was marked incomplete in the portal like 15 minutes before they scheduled me.

+1, If you are OOS, not EDP and/or don't have crazy high stats, most of this group hasn't heard a thing. Don't worry, keep the faith! Maybe they'll download us all tomorrow!

I think it’s mainly how competitive and IS you are, mainly how competitive you are. I got my primary receipt confirmation a couple weeks ago, but that was close to a month after the transmission date and I was verified at the beginning of June. There were people that got a receipt and II within days of sending in their primary, and they sent their primary in at the beginning of August

I think the “download” thing the admissions office says is just to keep us neurotic premeds patient lol

Also regular MD and haven't been able to schedule yet, received II on 8/10. We'll hang in there! Dean's Eval and LOR saying incomplete, but I believe my pre-reqs were marked on Friday.
 
Just to confirm, there's no email/other communication from IU unless you have been invited for an interview right?
