When I applied I said I was interested in some of the 3+3 programs. Is it something that is more of a generic interest? Or will they make me commit to one during my interview? Not sure if I can make that serious of a commitment this early haha.

I indicated 3+3 interest too. It didn't come up during my interview day (10/19) and I emailed the admins at the program to ask about application requirements *if* I were to be accepted, but they sent back a generic email with the same info that's on the webpage. From what I understand, it's a separate application process you fill out post-acceptance to the MD program.

i would not speculate into it -- i was complete 8/14 and haven't heard back, and i am sure there are people complete before me who haven't heard back yet!

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let those who haven't interviewed and had an emergency pop up know that they are really sweet about altering your interview date. My job deployed me, and I couldn't take any time away to interview for two weeks, which my interview was part of. They immediately called me and even opened up a new interview date for me. So, dont be afraid to call/email. They are super duper nice.

I just don’t understand the non-existent system schools use... they preach to us to apply early, but then we hear nothing and there are applicants who applied October hearing back? Makes no sense and is so frustrating.

From what I can see, they have 3 interview days a week and estimate you will hear 6-8 weeks after your interview. Thus there is not a "single day" on which they make decisions.
