No worries and thank you so much!

Stats: OOS, ORM, 3.7/3.75 GPa, 508 MCAT, research-heavy app

Ngl I wasn't expecting a two week turnaround but the interview went really well. The overall experience and vibe was amazing and administration seemed so nice, you'll all do great can't wait to hear more good news and potential future classmates 😀

How far among do you think rowansom is in their application process? How many IIs you think they have left?

I’m OOS (but in PA so nearby) w/ low UG stats but upward trend, high SMP GPA, 501 MCAT, and 40k health care hours and strong LOR. I’ve got an admission advising meeting tomorrow. Anyone have thoughts/advice/etc?

anyone who recently got accepted see any changes on their portal??

Hey! How was your call? Any positive news?

So it was an incredible opportunity to speak with admissions and sell myself. It was conversational and while I am not guaranteed anything, I do think I improved my odds of gaining a look.

Let me say something that I think everyone should know: be aggressive. Every II I have gotten has come from advocating for myself. Pre-interview, do not take no for an answer. The caveat to this is it only works if you are not "cookie cutter". I don't mean that in a pejorative sense but if you are a 3.2/3.4/506 with average LOR and scribing experience, you will get in if you apply broadly, early, and are a normal person. But for those of us with lower stats but another strong selling point, well, you have to be ever-attacking. But make sure you can sell something, like medical experience or long upward trend or SMP performance.

Just some general advice that has been useful, so far, to me.

That's a great way to look at it. Thank you for sharing. Did they mention anything about this cycle in particular in terms of interviews/filling up their class?

Got the acceptance email tonight! Interviewed 11/12 - I'm seeing that they called others about their acceptance but I only received the email suddenly just now (10:40pm). Do they not call all students?

Good luck to everyone!

I also got my letter/A email today but did get the call last week. Not sure seems random.

Was your meeting with Paula Watkins?

I have a potentially dumb question that I cannot find a thorough answer online or in person for. When do they usually reach out to potential candidates? Anyone familiar? Or do they not offer many scholarships?

I have been completed since late August, are they done interviewing at this point? The only emails I have received are for virtual events 🙁

Complete late-July AND an NJ resident.
NJ resident as well. This definitely is a confusing cycle. I was so sure I'd have heard back by now. A friend of mine applied last year end of September, got an II in November, interviewed December, got in January. I thought it would be just as smooth sailing for me since I had higher stats than them. Welp, I stand corrected

They are still extending interviews, let's not loose hope!
