I'm worried though because if the class is full then don't interviews mean automatic waitlist!?
No because they accept 2x to 2.5x the class size, so they might be “full” but still have many more to accept...additionally, they want to interview more people before deciding if the waitlisted applicants can be accepted after interviewing the entire “pool”.

I wouldn’t worry about it until February tbh

Huh?? aren't you the same poster that calmed everybody down just a few days back about this process? Getting Waitlist is absolutely fine at this point in the Rowan cycle. There is going to be lots of movement. It will be fine if everybody just hangs in there. There is not a lot of other choices anyway.

Haha yes! I definitely am the same poster lol...I think what confused me looking at last year's thread/speaking with those who interviewed last year is that there was already a wait list starting in Nov/Dec of last year and I hadn't heard the same for this year...and so I was concerned that if I did interview what that meant.

Hope this clears up confusion 🙂

Hey just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat:
I interviewed here 11/21 and haven't heard anything about an rejection (hopefully not) or an acceptance. Just wondering if anyone one else is on the same timeline?
Hey! I haven't gotten an II yet, but a couple of my friends have been in the same boat and they actually called admissions to get an update. Basically admissions forgot to send decisions so my friends got theirs over the phone. So give them a call!

Sounds like I have until roughly February to receive an II. I am OOS and complete early August. Is it encouraged to send updates to my application or should I just be patient?

Thank you so much for the advice. I decided to give them a call 🙂 Hopefully you get your II, wishing you luck!

Hey guys I'm interviewing with Rowan next week and I was wondering if any of you know how long the orientation is?

adcom is meeting today-good luck to those who have interviewed and are waiting to hear back!

lolol I had a meeting with Dean Watkins yday and she said they interview until march...apparently there are people who are taking the January MCAT so they're waiting on their scores as well...
wild, i took mine january 2020 and they still havent given your boy a look ova here.

Do we think everyone is going on the WL now or R? Or do we think they will send out As now as well?

Marked complete since September. Everything is sold aside from MCAT. IS resident. Do you guys think I am silently rejected?

I don't know the rest of your application, but what I can say is that my good friend who did the Rowan GSBS program, had like a 3.8 in the program but a 499 could not get an interview. She was IS as well...so I'm not sure. What I can recommend is setting up a meeting with Dean Watkins who will be able to give you a better idea. I hope this helps!

Is this something to do now? Or wait until we get an official decision from them?

got a call back 2 days ago from my interviewer, she stated that I'm placed on the high priority waitlist, not really sure what this means

congrats! in years past the high priority waitlist has meant "delayed acceptance".

if you don't mind sharing-who did you interview with/when did you interview/stats? thanks for updating!

Congrats, I think that's really good news. Does it say that you're on the HPWL on your portal too?

Took your advice. In-State, pending since late July. Nada. Nice woman told me that the school will continue to interview into March so I still have an opportunity to be interviewed. That's all I got.

just got the A call! interviewed in mid December
congrats!! I'm kinda confused though because I thought that their class is already full and thought that they were only waitlisting or rejecting? i interviewed mid December as well but got HPWL due to the full class

hmm interesting.. hoping you get accepted soon!

During my info session, they said they will be interviewing until March and emphasized there is no such thing as courtesy interviews and everyone is considered equally so they must be expecting to have a lot of movement (people withdrawing their As and such) in the coming months.

Were you assigned an info session the week of your interview? How long before your interview did they send a time for your interview and orientation? Thanks.

I actually did my info session after my interview because I couldn't get the day off... I got the times/links about a week before each

my info session was also the week after my interview simply due to timing. they sent the orientation/info session details about a week prior. it was from 10:30am-1:30pm

Gotcha, thank you. Will you be attending?
I already went!

It is mandatory so you have no choice but they did say they could send a recorded version if you really can't make it. it is pretty informational but quite focused on people that haven't interviewed yet

Hahaha, I meant attending the school as a student doctor. 😀
