Just got a preliminary review complete email. I'm guessing based on previous posts, I should be expecting an II sometime this week. Application complete late September and placed under preliminary review early to mid-October. OOS, ORM, LM 75.
VITA II tonight

It makes me nervous that they’ve had an interview day once every week since the first one. Makes me think they won’t send As until they have a week off from interviews 😅
Same! Also with the holidays coming up offices will be closed so if we don't hear back by then it will be a while...
Ughh

I know people tend to treat new/ unranked schools as safeties but the school's mission and culture has made it easily my top choice and the longer I ruminate on it the sadder I think I'd be if I get bad news 🙁

Complete email this morning (prelim review email on 10/9) & got an II a few hours later! IS, super stoked

Congrats!

What are your stats if you don’t mind sharing

should we send an email if we still havent had prelim review completed if we entered it in september?

have there been any reported acceptances yet ?

i first saw this school as a safety tbh. After admissions day, def my top choice now. I emailed them earlier this week about when we should expect to hear back and nothing, yet. I’m a reapp and feel like I killed my interview. Getting lots of stupid pressure from my parents about looking for at a different career. Almost as if they lost faith in. Honestly, don’t even blame them. Anyways, hoping for some good news by next week, hopefully.

Could you elaborate on what made them stand out to you on admissions day? And good luck, hope you get some good news soon!

PLEASE update if they respond about a timeline - I imagine everyone is curious about the timeline since it's so late for a "rolling admissions" school already!

Honestly, I was actually amazed at how friendly and welcoming the faculty were. But it’s admissions day, they want people to like them. My main reasons though are the P/F curriculum, the potential 3 year schooling instead of 4 years, proximity (IS gang), and the healthcare system itself. One of the main hospitals in the system is ranked 2nd in NJ soo rotations might be looking pretty good.

How long was the virtual admission day and were you all in one zoom room the entire time or were there different sessions?

I had it on 10/20. not too sure exactly how long it was but it started at 10 am EST and lasted 3.5 hours, I think. For the deans and speakers, it was one main zoom call. Toward the end, we also Talked to a few current students but I’m pretty sure it was just one big ass zoom session. Very chill though don’t worry. Learned that I actually had a lot in common with the other interviewers present. Obviously be on your best behavior but it’s really a chance for them to show us what this school is really all about.

Has anyone successfully sent an update letter? If so, did you send it to the person who interviewed you, the admissions person who scheduled the interview, or the general admissions email???

My bad if this was already asked but has anyone who interviewed receive a decision or are we all sitting ducks here lol

Update. They didn’t respond to the email LOL but I called them.
I asked when us interviewees should expect to hear back and she responded with, “no A’s have been sent out and we are still interviewing and deciding on applicants. This is going to continue until March (when their interview season ends). There is a possibility that you’ll hear back at the END of the interview season.” Kinda strange since I thought it was rolling admissions ?? I paraphrased everything back to her to clarify and she pretty much said we would hear back after the interview season ends. I hope that’s not true but it’s something. Good luck to all

I love this school, but if that's true, that's insanely inconsiderate for a lot of applicants. If ppl need to reapply, they need to know asap so they can sign up for classes, grad school, etc. This is not even touching the mental health aspect of being in limbo until March lol.

I truly hope we don't have to wait this long and that she is mistaken...

EDIT: thankfully the above isn't true 🙂

Anyone know if after the VITA invite, they also send a separate invite for you to schedule an interview with them? Or do they just use VITA?

I called them actually and they told me what to do. I suggest you call for the question too
So what did they have you do? Email the general admissions with the update letter?

After the VITA, they should call you in a couple days to schedule the one on one.

Complete in September, in the preliminary review email it said "please allow 2-4 weeks" for a complete review, but it's been 13+ weeks now. Anyone else in this position?
My secondary was completed in late August, I got a prelim review email in early September and haven't heard anything back either. So same boat!

Has anyone sent a pre-II update here, and if so, was it to the main admissions email? My portal won't let me upload anything

Sending positive vibes to everyone still waiting for a decision, interview, etc! Praying we all hear something right after New Years assuming the school is on break now for the holidays. As hard as it is to play this waiting game, try and enjoy the time with family and friends !

Thanks! Did you email them to let them know you completed it or they just automatically called you?

In my case, I received an email that notified me of the time/date of my one-on-one.

They called me automatically, I didn't e-mail them to let them know I completed VITA.
