can anyone speak more to the virtual admissions day? what is the timeline of the day / how interactive is it?

3.5 zoom call with dean, professors, fin aid, students. you can ask questions anytime.
the interview is either after the zoom call, or it can be scheduled on a different day
 
Hopefully the folks who got the preliminary review email on 10/9 will hear back this week. They said it will take 2-4 weeks for review to be completed. Fingers crossed!

I asked during my interview and was not given much clarity... other people have said possibly 6 weeks post-interview? Not sure though!
 
Is the name of the interviewer written on the confirmation email? I couldn't catch what was said.
 
For those who already did the virtual admissions day, how many people were there additionally, did you guys get the feeling that it was like another interview/were you being observed? Do I have to participate and speak during it?

yes everyone has their cameras on and speaks so dress well and be professional
 
Submitted 9/8, still haven't gotten any decision emails yet (no II's or R's). I'm in-state with 3.82 GPA and 518 MCAT. In the email, they said I'd hear back in 2-4 weeks. Should I contact them?

Same here. Marked for preliminary review 9/8 and haven’t heard anything since.
 
i received a VITA invite from them yesterday (sad its the first one yes i know) but no email about scheduling an interview ... does anyone know if i will get one after i submit my VITA or should i call them and ask if it's a mistake

You will hear from them about an interview and an information session, which might be on 2 different days. Let them know when you have done your VITA too.
 
have my interview this week and am absolutely losing it

if anyone has any insight into the structure of the interview, how hard it was, any overall tips, etc. please help <3

Thank you! I only have the virtual admissions day invite so far. I'll edit this post when I get an interview date.

Sorry this is a little late so idk if you've had your interview yet. It's suppose to be a single, 30 minute, 1 on 1 interview. Idk if it's open file or not, they didn't tell me. It's supposed to be "conversational", but that's really dependent on who you get. My interviewer asked me a list of questions and never attempted to reply or make conversation with me, despite my best efforts.
 
i thought i had uploaded my headshot on 9/27 and have been checking the portal periodically since then, but I just noticed that I did not actually submit it until today ... how screwed am I?
