I just the "your application is under review" email, how long did it take for you guys to hear back? I've heard anywhere from a month+ but that pushes me to March, is this basically too late to hold on to hope? hah

Is there a facebook or groupme group for accepted students?

I know this has been discussed before but has anyone heard earlier than 4 weeks for a decision and when do you think is an appropriate time to send a letter of intent after an interview

I think Tulane is running behind. I interviewed in early December and haven't heard back. I don't think any December or January interviewees have been accepted yet. At least none on SDN. Also, I think a letter of intent makes more sense if you are waitlisted but it doesn't hurt to try.

Mid-January were the last posts. I have seen a bunch of acceptance range decisions for interviewees in November/early December. However, I have only seen a couple of acceptances for November posted here.

I was never formally placed under review (my application has had a little red checkmark up until this AM) but just got a "hold for possible interview" email. Marked complete 9/15.

After all this time, it turns out the checkmark didnt mean anything? 🤣
I guess not 💀 I compulsively checked my status, too, so I know I didn’t miss anything. The communication jumped from “complete” to “on hold.”

Quick question why is it that some people get under review emails and some don’t?

If I interviewed 1/8 and I didn’t hear anything today, does that mean a WL/R?

My guess is that they interview through the end of March

once you receive an email saying your app is under review, do you guys know roughly how long it takes for them to make a decision to offer II or R? Thanks 🙂

wondering the same

Personal anecdote, took me 1-month to go from under review to II/R. However, from lurking here a long time, it can span 1 to 3 months. But, with interview season ending soon, I think it will be a quick turnaround. Good luck 🙂

I got an email that just said my application is still under consideration but it did not say interview hold.

I interviewed 11/13 and haven't heard back...since people who interviewed early January got accepted already this is really concerning. I hadn't heard about any November and December acceptances yet. Well damn
I saw someone who interviewed in October but didn't get accepted until mid-January. I don't think it's exactly in order. Don't lose hope 🙂

thank you!

I just recieved the email about how 600/18,000 applicants get an interview (so like 3%). Why do you guys think that so many students apply to or attracts a lot of premeds to Tulane?

Under review today, complete 8/26
