not to be a *******, but what is a second look email? is that only for people who were already accepted
 
Is it possible that the Geffens have already been given out and it just hasn't been posted here yet?

That could be the case. My guess is that VERY FEW Geffens have been awarded. I think someone posted they got on this thread a few days ago.
 
Does anyone have the gut to call them? I did this morning but they didn't answer, so maybe they knew what they're about to be asked

I'm not sure if they're answering the office phone at all, since folks are working from home. They might just check and respond to voicemails. Best bet would probably be to send any questions by email.

I’ve called them before! I think some times of day are just very busy. You can leave a message and they should get back to you. I know the number is different when it tells u to leave a message but that’s just the number that connects everyone’s phones
 
I also think the fin aid friday email said everyone will get fin aid info at some point before Friday. So by then, we'll probably have a better idea of whether they have gone out.

No worries! Everything is very confusing right now especially with the lack of communication on the schools half
 
Given that they moved the fin aid session, I was thinking they were planning on releasing it early this week and giving students time to come up with questions before the meeting. It seems like they're just having some unexpected delays.

I was also under the impression of them releasing aid packages by this Friday but one of my friends emailed them yesterday and the director said they scheduled to release provisional award letters in the next few weeks. I’m just really confused about their timelines
 
They said in my interview that you would get ur acceptance first and then aid after. I had the second to last interview and if there are still a bunch of acceptances being given out then that makes sense that aid would be released in waves but I know as much as any of you

They said they had not begun yet to send out any aids
 
Hi guys. Current student here. I can tell (and understand) how high the tension and anxiety is, trust me it feels like just yesterday I was in your shoes. Just wanted to share the sad news that the assistant director of our financial aid team passed away recently, so that could be contributing to the delays. She was usually the main point of contact for financial aid packages and Geffen logistics, at least for my class.
