never too late! if you're someone they would give an interview to, they would no matter when you submit.Just submitted secondary! Hope its not too late
After reading the prompt, you just start talking about the scenario and if you answered all of the questions in your monologue, then they won't ask any follow-up questions. I ended some of my MMI's a minute early because of that.Is anyone able to comment on the MMI experience? Did the interviewer ask any follow-up questions, or were we expected to be monologing the entire time?
I had a Canadian in my interview group.Anyone who submitted their secondary around August 3rd get an II yet? Any canadians get invites yet? Really starting to get worried as this is my top choice.
Could not agree more! Also, they gave us a decent amount of time to speak with the other applicants interviewing.Had an amazing interview experience. For anyone who's nervous, Wayne State definitely had the most chill and relaxed interviewers. I had a great time and I am thrilled at the prospect to be a student here!
Patiently waiting for hopefully good news. 🙂
Wait really? Do they usually release them on Thursday's? Mine was last Friday, and I'm just waiting here hopefully lolll

Where’s my early july squad without an interview ❤!! Keep the positivity going!
Sending love to all of y'all to not lose hope! The medical school application process is strange and it's impossible to read admission committees and how they review apps. Remember, the admissions committees have to pour out their eyes over thousands of apps (literally) and with COVID-19, the number is probably even higher. If you haven't heard back, then it's likely they just haven't gotten around to you yet since you're not out until you get the R and if they somehow you give an R, then it's because you're too awesome for them to be able to help you get where you want to be (ie mission fit would not be symbiotic enough).
But yea the process is mentally very stressful and even worse when you realize we're only halfway through (presuming it ends in April which is in 6 months, 6 months ago was about when the pandemic was peaking). But take the time to binge eat, binge watch tv, or take up a new hobby (or invest in stardew valley/don't starve and just become a farmer/fisherman) since logically speaking, there's a chance we won't be able to do it in a year. Or you know, be really neurotic and get a job processing/researching COVID samples cuz then you won't be checking your email and phone constantly when there's potentially COVID on your (gloved) hands 😉

From previous posts here, the people who interviewed in early October heard back in about a week. I believe their committee meets every other Thursday and today is one of those Thursdays which they may be meeting.10/21 interview date
Feeling anxious and impatient already
For people who've heard back does it usually take the full 4 weeks. I might explode before then haha
Just before 5pm ESTI hope they're meeting today... does anyone know approximately what time the last wave of As came out on 10/15?

It’s been like that for a few days. Not sure if they’ve already been sent out to lurkers. The interview tracker went from 20 offers or so to 52 offers - a sign that offers will be made today?🤔
Mine doesn't either, but I feel like they would send an email first? When did you interview?
I hope you’re right about the last two weeks part, because the anticipation is killing meOhhh I see, good luck!!!!! Mine was Oct 23rd. So have all the people who interviewed before the 15th got a desicion? And today is for people who interviewed within the last two weeks?
I feel like I would be to blame hahaLOLL imagine if we were wrong about them releasing decisions today
What time were they released on the 15th?
Try using the search bar on the regular Wayne State website and look over on the right side of the screen for a name.Hey friends, off topic, but I interviewed last Friday and I didn't catch the email of my faculty interviewer. I tried searching for them on the WSU directory but couldn't find their name. Would it be appropriate to email admissions about this or email the person who facilitated our interview day?
Yes it’s fine to email admissions. They can forward the thank you notes to your interviewers. Do they usually email decisions? or is it in the form of a phonecall?
I do remember someone on admissions saying we should hear back by nov 1st which is Sunday, so I assumed today would be the day too. Needless to say, I'm flinching at every email that comes into my inbox. Good luck everyone!
