Me all of tomorrow:

I had my decision for a waitlist the friday after my interview. I think they do make decisions Thursdays and release on Fridays. Don’t lose hope guys!
Last time they sent the acceptances on the Thursday... but you’re probably right

I have a feeling this is a big wave of acceptances. I am hoping lol, I hate being stuck on waitlist. Does anyone have any stats on WL? Like should I be expecting movement? I have heard that the WL moves quite a lot.

From my understanding, being WL'd at Wayne yields good outcomes. Seems like approx. 50% of people get off WL. Also, this year it seems that they are being more stringent about who they WL so it might be even higher this time around. Especially if you are WL'd early (before Christmas) you definitely have a good shot of getting an acceptance.

I hope so, Wayne is my number 1

My concern is that out of 186 interviews there were only 52 acceptances which is <30% post II acceptance rate so far. Hopefully it's not actually for 186 interviews but rather less since some interview decisions might not be included in this wave

Yeah that was kinda worrisome for me too, esp bc the usual post interview A rate is 50%, maybe the tracker isn't fully updated? Or decisions haven't been released for some of those interviews

The tracker is not fully updated. Don't fret. Those 52 acceptances are reflecting both the ED applicants and the first wave of acceptances that were sent out on October 15th. It doesn't reflect the soon to be 2nd wave of acceptances that should be coming out soon. I believe Wayne has historically had a 50% acceptance rate post II and I don't see that dramatically changing this cycle. Granted, I am also a clueless pre-med so take my predictions lightly.

Too late to submit secondary? Received it end of September but two full-time jobs have really limited the time I could dedicate to writing. Will submit regardless as it’s definitely one of my top choices- just would like to know how negatively I will be affected by this timeline. Heard mixed opinions given COVID & whatnot, especially since schools are each at a unique place in their review process.

It's a bit late to be honest with you but you also miss all the chances you don't take, so definitely submit if you want to attend the school and have some time! You never know!

Anyone from Oct 19th interview got updates on decisions?

Who said within 3 weeks? I interviewed on October 16th and heard it would be within 4 weeks.
Also my friend at Wayne said that they had a campus wide mental health day or something last friday so that could be why they didnt get acceptance offers out.

True, I'm currently at Wayne and we had Mental Health Day on Friday.

Maybe not! COVID-19 has put everything on the table.

If you have decent stats, you should be OK. They definitely will be handing out more interviews. Kudos on the username

Not looking too good for us july applicants but for september people ya’llstill in this!

I don't think so. Previous cycle, I had friends who were complete in June-July, get interviews in Feb/March.

Tbh, the general med app process is a crapshot. As long as you got the stats, you will eventually get in somewhere

Does anyone know if Wayne accepts pre-II updates and what the best way to send those in are?

Hey all, is anyone having trouble seeing the confidentiality agreement right now when scheduling the interview?

II just now, complete 8/1, scheduled for 11/23. 3.71 cGPA, 513 MCAT, OOS, ORM.
Congrats! Curious if they are going in alphabetical order like they did last time with last name are you at the beginning of the alphabet
