Is their bms program a good idea for a gap year? Like do they accept a ton of their students?

It’s designed as a two year program so I wouldn’t say it’s ideal for a single gap year. I’ve been told that to be considered for an interview, you have to maintain a 3.75+ BMS GPA, since many people finish the program without significant improvements compared to their ugrad GPA. After completing at least 20 of the required 34 credits, they completely replace your ugrad GPA with your BMS GPA. There’s no guarantee for an interview just for doing well in the program but I do know people who did well in the program and were accepted to WSUSOM and other medical schools afterwards. I also know of others who didn’t perform well or did at least okay in BMS and weren’t interviewed at all. They still consider the rest of your application like MCAT, activities, and essays, so BMS is ideal if your GPA is the only thing holding you back and if you want more time to improve other aspects of your app.

Yes those are tomorrow. I was thinking the impact might be a possible delay in the decision since we have to reschedule them.
