Hey guys, can anybody explain what commuter status is? I am Canadian and I'm a bit confused as to what it means

Do you need to indicate somewhere that you have commuter status? Or what would be the benefit of having this for admissions?

anybody interviewing tomorrow but haven't been assigned a student interviewer? didn't receive an email about no student interviewer available either

Someone wrote in the chat (during the Warrior MD thing) about how they haven't heard. Dawn replied to send her an email and she'll look into it...has anyone tried that? I'm scared of what I'll hear 😳

Like you haven't had an II yet?

Were you in the PM track? I am scheduled to interview on 1/13 (AM track) and I didn't receive any email about cancellations.
did you happen to see your student interviewers name on the portal the day before your interviewer? i never received the email but am not assigned a student :/

Yes, I had a student interviewer and the name was on the portal before interview. During my interview day, they said for some of us, med student interview will be replaced by an asynchronous interview. You can email them to make sure if that's the case for you.

Will do, thank you so much!!

Also if you don’t mind me asking why did you get the R when you applied to Wayne before? Did the adcom specify? Sorry if this is too personal and if you don’t feel like sharing that’s completely fine 🙂
Never found out, adcom just told me that my application was great, but that they had a lot of great applicants and they just had to choose. Same thing that 14 other schools said as well. The remaining schools didn't even bother responding to my emails. The system is so obviously flawed.

My portal for Wayne has been "application is ready" since I was complete back in the fall. Did anyone see a change to "under review" or did you just go straight to interview/reject?

When are post-II decisions usually rolled out? Every Monday? Only once a month? Looks like a large range of turnaround times.

I interviewed mid December, they said 4-6 weeks because of break, but some people heard back a few days later and I havnt heard anything yet. Kinda curious as to if MLK will change their decision days. People have usually heard back on Fridays and Mondays (correct me if I'm wrong though)
