My second in a row WL at schools I thought I 100% got into. Pour some out for me and whatever I'm doing wrong in these interviews that feel amazing

50% of waitlist gets pulled from data I saw on MSAR I think!

This whole process is a crapshoot, but being WL'd this cycle is better than in previous cycles. Probably just means they want to compare you to the rest of the applicant pool! There will definitely be a lot of movement next year. Best of luck guys and gals...you all will be great physicians no matter where you end up.

If you go to your portal and go to Application status -> communication status you should be able to see any emails you've been missing

I have several friends who go to T20 schools who got WLed here (and got off in May). Apparently they have a neck for WLing “overqualified” people who they don’t think will matriculate here. Super annoying if they ask me...

I have the same issue.... either it can mean another batch of A’s but I’m also worried it can be an R :/ What are you guys thinking? I wonder if they’ll send R’s for all batches or later on in the year, and what percentage receive it

I wonder if admission committees know how much we (myself included!) read into their emails (or lack thereof) and obsess over every detail.
