Has anyone else submitted a secondary around end of September and still not heard anything? Just curious how long it's actually taking them to review these.

I’m sorry, but you got this! Keep on grinding 🙂
Did you just receive the WL email? I assumed they were done for today
Aww, thank you, friend! <3 I'm feeling better than I did yesterday. It's comforting to know that they tend to WL a LOT of people, I just hope I hear back sooner rather than later. And I found out at like 3:00 yesterday, but was at work and waited till I got home to wallow in self-pity.

Me! I submitted mine 9/30 and have not heard anything yet.

I’m having an interview here soon. How long is a station for the MMI (7 mins each? Or more)? And is the 1-1 interview 30 mins? Thank you and good luck to all 🙂

Does anyone remember?

It's all a blur rn. I think the MMIs were 1 min to read the prompt + 5 mins with the interviewer. The 1-1 student interview was ~30 mins. The 1-1 faculty interview might have been longer, like 60 mins?

Anyone who interviewed in mid October not hear anything back yet? Seems like there was a wave of waitlists yesterday for those dates then silence.

gave them a call and they said the system is overloaded bc they sent all the invitations at once and to try again in a few hours lol
Ouuff I guess that means no more interview invites today 🙁

people who interviewed... do you think the SDN interview feedback page for wayne is accurate? did it help you at all?

complete end of aug, if we didn't get an II today should we assume we won't get one in the future? just asking since most september ppl seem to be getting IIs now lolz

There were some issues with scheduling interviews earlier today and this is what they emailed us: "There are more than 400 interview slots remaining so please be patient as we work with AMP to resolve this issue." 400 is a lot; stay optimistic.

thank you thank you 🙂

Is Wayne State rolling admissions? I ask because it seems like the first round of interviews were for July folk, and these past few rounds have been August and extending into September.

Wondering if I should be concerned as a mid-September applicant...

Really hoping there's an emphasis on more. The admissions tracker says 800 IIs have been sent out and a little over 400 interviews have been done. But they said they wanted to do around 1,500 interviews this year so those numbers don't really add up...

Annecdotally, was complete mid July with strong ties to the hospitals in Detroit (DMC, Karmanos)+ a great deal of long term non-clinical volunteering in Detroit with a 100th percentile MCAT and ≈3.6x GPA and missed out on both II waves and probably an II at all. Don't know what I can do besides improve my GPA

With a 100th percentile MCAT, I don't know how every school hasn't taken you haha.

But I empathize, very similar situation, except opposite for MCAT and GPA (4.0 GPA through Wayne State's grad GPA replacement policy and 508 MCAT), and outside of taking the MCAT again, I really don't know what else I can do to improve my application, and this is me saying that after applying here a second time...
