Did you guys get that email about financial aid? It says that they only send merit scholarships out in two batches, once in January and once in May. Are merit based scholarships common? I don't think I'll qualify for need based, and I feel like it'd be tough to justify Wayne over my IS acceptance if I'd have to take a gamble on getting a scholarship.

O....loool hehe I tried...I did hear some schools took time to send out acceptance letters because they personalize the letters (which is sweet imo), so I was just wondering. Thanks for the reply though!

I think they're talking about personalized acceptance letters that you'd get in the mail rather than acceptance emails. Some schools will send an acceptance letter a month or so after getting an A with personal details, but sounds like Wayne State doesn't do this.

Does this school do silent rejection or late rejection after interview? Waiting over a month

I think the odds that 0 of those 60 some people are on here are pretty slim. I feel they haven’t been released or they are just scheduled acceptances to go out in the future

they don't do Rs unless you completely messed up your interview or there were major red flags (based on previous threads). they usually WL everyone, review files and then pull people off based on file review at their committee meetings. some people hear back the same week while others wait months, so I would not worry at this point.

Thank you. I was worrying so hard at this point because other people here seem to have their decisions after weeks or days..

Yeahh! I had to wait about a month for my response as well 🙂 I think it depends on when your file gets reviewed!

Does that mean that waitlist is 958 candidate long? (1410-452) I doubt it.

honestly either people don't post about the Rs they got post-II or they don't give out Rs post-interview. If you look at past threads there is barely any mention of post-II Rs

ok this is giving me stomach ache. I have been waiting over a month for decision and just saw that they do post-ii Rs at the end of cycle.
