NFA for me too :// When's the next review meeting? Those of us who are NFA get reviewed at the next one right?
 
i think advocacy meeting is in march we could possibly get brought up at the next committee meeting before that but idk for sure
 
Is it appropriate to send a LOI in like Jan/Feb if we're NFA? Or is it more for those who haven't received II's?
 
I understood that they have meetings every 2 weeks where you have a chance of getting in 😕

Physical mail? Damn true that would makes sense considering the secondary was like that too lol thanks!
 
I got NFA'd back in October and my letter said decisions would come out between Jan and March.
 
Just realized I received a secondary from this school now, was in spam folder. Is it still worth completing it. Or are they almost done most of the interviews. I have a 4.0gpa and 509 MCAT.

I am an OOS, got an interview on [12/06/2021] and today [12/10/2021] is when they told me the admissions committee meets so I will know within the next 1 to 2 weeks
stats: 508 MCAT, 3.85 undergrad GPA, 3.2 Master's of Pharmacology GPA
going for MD/Ph.D

I got an email today stating my application is complete 🙁. I had gotten this email about a month back. Little weird. Not sure what's going on.

I just got one today too! I had everything submitted in September (thanks to having to order a new SS card lol) and when I emailed them to confirm they had everything, they said my app was under review. Not sure if this means anything or if I should lose hope for LSU.

Definitely go ahead and do it! They’re accepting secondaries until Jan. Submitting even if it’s a bit later on in the cycle is better than not doing it at all!

Has anybody else heard back from this last round? Interviewed 12/6 and haven't gotten anything yet.

I think that's pretty normal (no less frustrating tho). The letter says most decisions get made after Jan, which means we're left playing the waiting game for even longer. Eubanks also had they send out a lot of letters at the end of Feb/start of March and in May since that's when they have their 2 advocacy meetings.

Yeah, it's weird, I saw people last year that interviewed before or around when I did last year get accepted in Nov and Dec. so naturally, it makes me worry. I figured after more than 2 months after my interview I'd know if I got in or not, but I'm hanging in there!
Have you emailed the admissions office about your status? Is that even a good idea?
 
Oh yeah, I think after the NFA you just have to wait. Which sucks. I just haven't gotten anything yet so I'm still in limbo, which also sucks. You could always send an update letter so your status could get bumped.

Haven't emailed anyone yet. I'm just anxiously awaiting.... realllllllllly impatiently awaiting haha. The letter said they don't give out updates if you inquire after you get the NFA letter. Please send help 🥲

Also true! Only thing I've done was send in final grades haha

When I did my interview [12/06/2021] I vaguely remember being told that the advocacy meetings would be sometime at the end of January, then the end of February and March. It has been a long time since I interviewed and heard that line however, so take it with a grain of salt.
